"Hey (Y/N), did you miss me?" She said with a wide smile.

She didn't wait a single second before jumping on your wolf form, her human form came careening into you, both of you toppling down to the floor. Your fur hit the dirty ground making it dirty, leaves and mud sticking to you, she wrapped her arms around you while nuzzling her head into your side, in her traditional over excited hug.

You rolled over straight away after expecting it and sent her to the floor and under you before slipping away from her form, a smile on you face the whole time. She stayed on the floor and laughed like a crazy person before finally standing and transforming into her own wolf form. She had chocolate brown fur and one of her ears always seemed to tilt slightly to the side, giving her a goofy look. That was exactly Hange, you'd be able to tell from a mile away.

"You're so cute in wolf form. It makes me want to gobble you up" she went to jump on you again.

However, as she was mid jump she was grabbed by the tail and wrenched back and away from you, hitting the floor with an "oof" and getting her own fur dirty, knowing that she would now no longer take you down to the floor you shook trying to clean out your fur. It mostly worked however there were a few twigs and leaves that had gotten tangled in your fur and wouldn't come out.

"Not again sh- Hange" Levi corrected himself letting go over her tail as you tried to use your mouth and legs to dislodge the dirt still clinging to you

"Ha Ha Levi, I see you're remembering our bet" Hange teased.

"Bet?"
"What bet?"
"Huh?"
"Levi wouldn't make a bet with you Hange"
"Crazy Hange"
"Had she gone insane?"
"She was always insane"
You heard from the pack that gathered around the two watching their interactions.

You felt someone move up beside you and startled you a bit before you realised that it was your farther. He began to help you pull out the dirt stuck in your fur "Those two are always like that with each other... it's exhausting"

You laughed "I can only imagine"

"I bet Levi, before I left the pack all those years ago, that I would be able to find (Y/N), which I clearly did. And if I won, he would then HAVE to call me Hange. No brat, shitty glasses or four eyes." Hange professed proudly puffing her chest out and made her fur stand on end.

You heard Levi grumbling with an adorable pout on his face, but it was so low that you couldn't actually hear what he was saying "huh what's that Levi? Got something to say?" Hange teased again.

"No. Nothing to say" Levi said through gritted teeth.

Everyone laughed, he wouldn't say it out loud to anyone but he was definitely regretting making that bet with Hange. Thinking of Hange she had fit right back in with the pack easily, it was actually quite scary how she did it after all you had been a nervous wreck the entire time.

"Hange!" Your farther started "Anything spotted in the forest?" Your father asked when he had finished cleaning your fur.

Hange instantly turned serious "I was on high alert and circled around the pack a few times trying to see or sniff something out, but saw nothing, that grey wolf that grabbed (Y/N) before is very good at hiding himself and his scent. He's clever"

You could feel and see the tension enter your father's body and heard him mumble "so its a waiting game then"

There was a pause until he finally seemed to snap from his mood "whoever is hunting today I suggest you head out early, we could have an unexpected but expected visitor soon".

As the hunting wolves gathered to leave, Levi came over to you and nudged you on back to the cave, Hange tried to follow but was hounded by the other pack members all desperately wanting to know everything she had done outside of the pack in, extensive, detail.

"Looks like it's going to rain tonight" Levi said beside you while looking to the sky.

Your eyes followed where Levi was looking, he was right, the weather once again seemed to be turning for the worst, it would be the first time you'd be sleeping completely outside, not in a tent or unconscious from a head injury, while there was a rain storm sweeping through.

It was going to be a long and rough night...

*3rd Person POV*

As Levi predicted, when the forest turned dark the heavens opened and rain poured down onto the earth, turning the ground wet and moist. Not long after flashes of light split the sky and lit the ground as thunder roared through the forest echoing much like (F/N)'s howl but 10 times more terrifying for the first occupants.

The black wood pack all huddled in their small caves and hovels, cuddling together for security and warmth. The same went for the alphas cave. (Y/N) lay in the middle of both her father and Levi, collecting warmth from them. The two alphas made her feel secure and allowed her to fall completely asleep despite the storm. The two alphas also lay sound asleep, the only difference was their ears flicked with every sound that echoed into the cave, ready for their foe.

The grey scared wolf finally left his cave enjoying the feeling of the rain that wet his body and pinned his fur. Tonight was the perfect night to ambush the black wood pack. The rain almost completely dampened his scent and the thunder hid any sounds he would make; it was the perfect cover.

He would be able to get close, extremely close. He was hoping to even got to the mouth of the cave especially if he took the route around the back leading him up the slight hill and around the back of the alphas cave, it was slightly longer but gave him a much better angle.

It was the perfect plan to ambush both (F/N) and Levi, he would be able to kill them off and take control of the pack before the pack even noticed anything was wrong.

Tonight was the night the black wood pack would become his...
