Chapter 16

You fidgeted awkwardly under all of the eyes of the pack. The pack was much larger than you expected and after a quick glance around you turned your eyes away in embarrassment. Even the young pups that were fighting stopped to look at you. All was silent and tense, you felt Levi inch closer to you and his body press against your own for comfort.

Suddenly the silent pack burst with noise, all of them raced over with happy looks on their wolfy faces, you backed up as they came closer, a little nervous. You intentionally pressed into Levi who covered you slightly with his own body, but it wasn't enough, a barrel of questions and statements came your way making you stammer not sure how to answer them all.

"Levi" a strong male voice cut through the loud Wolves.

Everyone went silent, all heads including yours turned to the owner, a much bigger wolf with fur the same colour as yours made his way down the rocky path where a cave sat on top. You tensed but didn't feel particularly nervous, your eyes widened, this was Levi's co-alpha which meant that he was your father. Ok now I'm nervous again.

His eyes stayed on you as the pack parted to let him through to you, he was much bigger than Levi and towered over you and most of the pack. He stopped right in front of you almost too close, everyone was watching and you could feel the embarrassment start to creep back into your body at the more serious tension now hanging over the pack, until he finally spoke "welcome home"

"Good to be home" you smiled and relaxed.

Happy amazed gasps sounded around you as you felt him begin to nuzzle you, your father accepted you. You nuzzled him back with relief and happiness that you were back with your family. You were never leaving them now. By now, someone had to know that you were missing and had probably already linked that to the wolf dragging a girl away. If the police were already called then they were probably looking for a human body.

This worked well for you though as it meant that you could now live with the pack, with Levi, with your father. In fact, the only person that you would dearly miss was Hange who would forever think that you were dead.

"You must be tired, please come into the cave to rest you can meet everyone else when you wake" (F/N) nudged you forward.

The rest of the pack tried to follow you but eventually the path narrowed too much and they couldn't. Your eyes stayed on your father, him repeatedly glancing back at you as Levi walked beside you watching the both of you in silence. (F/N) lead you into your cave and to where you could sleep.

"You can rest here, Levi will join you in a short while I just need to speak to him first" your father said, you looked up worried but you were soon relaxed "don't worry it nothing serious I just have to talk to him about general pack stuff. He's been gone for a long time after all"

He laughed with kind eyes as you finally laid down with a nod "see you when I wake, we also have to catch up" you spoke with a satisfied smile.

*3rd Person POV*

Both (Y/N)'s Father's and Levi left the cave when (Y/N) had finally fallen asleep, Levi was desperate to join her but he knew that whatever (F/N) had to say was very important. Their eyes lingered on (Y/N) as the walked away "thank you for bringing my daughter back to me".

Levi simply nodded not saying anything as he waited for the reason for this talk "he's here. You've sensed it too, correct?" (F/N) looked over to Levi.

"Yes, and he must be close, just waiting for the right time to strike. Even worse, he's still after (Y/N) and definitely wants us both dead and out of the way" Levi said not looking at the (H/C) alpha

"This time I'll kill the bastard, he's not taking my daughter from me again, or my pack. If he sets foot in my sight, he'll find my teeth waiting for him" the (H/C) alpha growled.

"You're not the only one who wants to kill him. It's not just your teeth that he will find. He also doesn't have his pack this time around, if anyone's at the disadvantage it's him" Levi agreed and informed.

The (H/C) alpha gave him a long side look that Levi didn't catch, he was suspicious about what Levi said. How does Levi know that the grey scarred alpha is pack-less? he's talking like he has seen the grey wolf. The alpha didn't say anything to his friend, he trusted Levi so didn't think too much into it.

The grey scared wolf sat in his cave taking deep breaths in through his nose, smelling the new scent in the air. It was (Y/N)'s scent that he could smell, this told him that she had been brought to the pack, an evil smirk settled in his lips. So that's what the howl was about. He thought

His evil smirk remained on his face as plans and ideas flashed through his mind about how he could possibly grab (Y/N) and make her father and Levi suffer before killing them. It almost made him laugh, but he held it in as it would give him away to anyone stalking through the woods.

*(Y/N)'s POV*

*Time Skip*

You woke to loud yips and growls as well as a distant crushing through the forest, you panicked slightly and jumped up onto your feet. Your head swivelled to the familiar black fur that was lying next to you, he stood up along side you looking perfectly relaxed. His demeanour defiantly relaxed you but the loud noises outside still kept you on a slight edge.

"Levi? What's going on?" You asked your voice slightly croaky from sleep.

"Nothing serious don't worry it's just an old highly annoying pack member coming home, she was actually sent out to find you on a whim and amazingly, despite her crazy stupidity, she managed it" he answered nosing your head before stepping out of the cave.

You followed and looked towards where the crashing was coming from, it sounded like someone was wildly running, the person burst through the forest, your eyes widened and you tensed in shock not knowing what to make of the person who currently had a wide crazy smile on their human face.

"...Hange!"
