"Okay...?" Is all that left your mouth.
"Do you know what a werewolf is (Y/N)?" He asked you, his voice slightly elevated to get over the sound of the rain.
You stayed silent, he told you not to speak so you didn't "Brat? Are you going to answer me or not".
"Sorry you told me not to say anything?" You mumbled.
"You can answer my questions" he said with slight annoyance.
"Oh right. Yeah, I know what a werewolf is. Not sure how this is relevant though" you squinted trying to figure out where the hell he was going with this.
"Well don't freak out but I am a werewolf" he said, kneeling down in front of you.
You tried to hold it in but no matter how much you tried it was impossible and you soon burst out laughing uncontrollably. You rolled back and forward as tears came to your eyes, werewolves don't exist, what is Levi talking about, you thought.
"It's not funny" he growled.
"Levi! Are you ill" you said trying to stop your laughter.
"No what's so funny this is serious" he stressed.
"Levi werewolves aren't real I think you just have a cold from sitting in your damp clothes" you worriedly tried to take his clothes off as they were still wet and probably making him worse.
"The humans have ruined you" he mumbled and stood out of your reach with a half open shirt.
You could see his chiselled chest, muscle sat on muscle, he was like a god stood proudly in front of you. He didn't say anything but you couldn't take your eyes away, he sensed that and used the moment to prove you wrong.
You watched him unnaturally hunch over as black fur pushed through his skin, his snout elongated and sharp teeth replaced his human ones. A black furry tail growing out behind him, it gave little wag and then settled down.
Levi...
Wolf...
Levi, wolf...
Where...
Where, Levi, Wolf...
Where, Wolf...
Werewolf...
You were completely frozen, you were amazed, but Levi saw this as fear. You saw his ears slightly tilt back worried and he inches closer to you slowly, as to not startle you, you were still unmoving. He wasn't just any werewolf either, he was the one from before, the one from your dream. His eyes, that deep ice blue that always stuck with you.
Levi was now right in front of your face, you could feel his breath fan across your face. But he kept coming closer and eventually rubbed against your neck, his soft fur tickling you. You had the feeling that he was rubbing his scent on you. His rough tongue was next on your neck, it felt really good and calmed you right down to the point where it had unfrozen your body.
You felt him shift back as arms wrapped around you, it prompted you to say something "why are you telling me this?".
"Because you are also a werewolf" he said softly.
"What? NO! Your lying right?" You pushed him away in surprise.
You were in a bit of a panic, he had to be lying, he had to be. You were human you had been your entire life; you never changed on a full moon or had even had an inkling that you weren't normal. But you didn't know your parents, you were an orphan, as a baby you were found in... in Black Wood forest...
"I know it's shocking just please listen and I can explain everything. Just please..." he placed his hands on your shoulders in an attempt to calm you.
With a nod from you he began his long explanation...
*3rd Person POV*
Luck was on the side of the grey wolf; the heavy downfall of rain masked his scent from his chasers and they were all far to inexperienced to be able to find him in other ways. Levi didn't follow, he was too concerned with (Y/N) and the grey wolf knew that there was no way he would leave her with one of his little hunting pack members.
He could still hear them running around and yipping to each other trying to find him again as to not disappoint their leader. But he was long gone... he had escaped... even though he had escaped he was still back at square one with (Y/N) and next time Levi would be in the way. There was no way Levi would let his guard down now, not after the grey wolf had shown his true colours.
He would have to completely rethink his plan, admittedly his first one wasn't at all amazing it was just to grab the girl and run. He would have to find a safe place to figure something out. He would need somewhere damp and probably quite smelly so that his scent would be hidden from the entire Black Wood pack.
*(Y/N)'s POV*
Your mind couldn't stop running, everything Levi told you made you dizzy, he basically described your recurring dream, but from his point of view of course. Everything made sense about your dream now, it was like your mind trying to tell you that you weren't human. All this time and you never knew.
Your mind couldn't handle it and it just kept swimming, your vision hazed and you felt Levi's hands grab you as you began to fall. Eventually your eyes shut and once again, unconsciousness crept up to you and over took your entire being.
*Levi's POV*
You caught (Y/N) in your arms as she fell backwards, unconscious for the second time that day, you laid her back down on the bedding. Your hands accidentally grazing her cheek as you pulled away, she was burning up, it was exactly what you wanted to avoid by bringing her here.
You would have to go out and get some forest herbs for her so that she could get better, but you couldn't leave her alone she was way too venerable. You turned wolf and then went back to the mouth of the cave, starting with a growl you ended in a howl calling out to your little hunting pack. You could leave her with them while you went to get what she needed, you heard their growls, yips and howls in response to your call, they were coming back to you.
