Two weeks later Dr. Wizz swings by to look at my stitches...and removes them. He says that my leg is healing well with the rest of my body. So today, I go harder on myself and work out even longer with Marcus's help, pushing myself till I give out. Without his constant drilling me, I might have given in.

Zane has been teaching me how to shoot a gun the correct way as well. I never knew there was a certain way that you had to hold the thing. He lines up things for me to shoot at different distances to see if I can hit the targets or not. Today I get eight out of the ten and I am quite proud of myself compared to a week ago.

He has asked me if I wanted any help with getting back at Tony but this is my war and I want to take care of it myself. I wanted to tell Sara about her brother but thought why start shit...when I'm about to finish it anyway. She doesn't need to be aware of the fate of her brother. Besides she has so much going on right now.

I am changing clothes when there is a light knock on the door and Zane walks right on in. "Hey...you have a second?"

"Sure." I throw on my shirt and walk out the door with him. We walk a good ways and then into the garage.

"I know you loved the Corvette...she was a beauty and will be missed." He grabs a set of keys on the wall and motions for me to follow him. Of course I do. "Thought you might be able to use a cool ride." He tosses me the keys.

I look up at him dumbfounded. "Sir...you can't be serious...I couldn't possible take another car from you."

He smiles. "It's not a car." He points over at the truck. "It's a truck."

I am tongue-tied...completely speechless. This man has given me a place to stay. He has given me a life that I can never repay him for and not only the Corvette that I totally got demolished but now this. I walk over to the Chevrolet Silverado. She is shiny and dark blue, right off the sales floor. He has got to be kidding with me. I keep shaking my head in disbelief. "Sir...I..."

"Are you arguing with me?"

"No sir...I..." Shit. "Thank you sir." I take the keys and walk over to the dark blue truck. This guy amazes me.

I open the door and climb in. I look around taking in the new smell of leather. Everything is spotless and shiny. I don't know how I will ever be able to pay him back.The thing is he never expects me to pay him back or should I say paying him back is me working for him. Paying him back is me doing whatever he request out of me.

Several more weeks pass and the only way I talk to Sara is over the phone. She has moved in to an apartment in New York and is attending some college there. I never told her what happened between her brother and I. I was going to but then thought why bother it's not like it even concerns her.

I take the truck out tonight just to ride around. I'm trying to find something to get into when I spot the guys walking down the sidewalk. I pull over and watch them go into the video store. I sit and wait. When they come back out about thirty minutes later, I continue to watch to see where they go. I follow them, slowly behind them so that they have no clue that I am tailing them. They go back to a house that I believe they all share or that is what I hear anyway. I park on the other side of the road on down. When I see the pizza boy pull up, I think yes...this is the perfect opportunity. I jump out of the truck with my ball bat. I also have a gun on my side. because you never know when you might need it.

I walk swiftly over and grab the pizza from the guy and hand him a fifty. "I got it from here...thank you."The boy just looks at me and nods his head when he sees the amount I give him and then leaves. I walk up and wait for one of them to open the door. David opens the door with a smile when he sees the pizza however when he looks up at me the smile quickly fades.
