Elsa's POV
As the new year had come, it also brought some pretty boring stuff with it. For example, the obligatory meetings with dignitaries and royals from other countries, to discuss new possible alliances and trades and that kind of stuff. So, today was our first meeting and this year happened to take place in Arendelle, so we had to get everything ready, not that I enjoyed that, but we had to. Anna and me spent the whole day before the meeting organizing and checking on the "guest list" as you would call it. Kristoff was out on a harvesting trip, well, at least that was what we told Anna. He was actually taking a trip to a nearby kingdom to get some things for the proposal, still not sure what he's trying to do, but I just made sure Anna wouldn't notice. As we were checking on the list, Anna's eyes widened as she pointed at one of the names
—Oh Elsaaaa- she sang
I raised an eyebrow
—Now what?- I smiled
—Look who's coming!
Anna showed me the name: "Prince Aleksander of Stavanger". I couldn't help but to blush
—Someone's gone reeeed!- she mocked
—Anna, stop it! We already talked about this
She frowned
—I know we talked about this, but I can't just see what I saw and pretend like nothing happened!
—And what did you see?
—I know you know!
I knew
—Well, I don't- I said trying to avoid the conversation
—So do I have to mention it?- Anna said
—No! I mean... no, because... nothing happened
—Something happened, you were about to KISS!
—Anna, would you please just let that go?
—Come on! Elsa, I tell you basically everything, and you can't tell me about your first kiss?- Anna said in a very insisting way
—That wasn't my first kiss!- I said
—Oh, so you had one before that one!- she said
—No! I meant, we didn't kiss that day. And you don't tell me "basically everything". I don't even know how your first kiss was...
—Okay so, first of all, don't try to change the subject, you do know how my first kiss was, and second of all and more importantly, what do you mean you didn't kiss THAT day, you mean you kissed OTHER day?
—No...
Anna glanced at me
—Well, maybe but...
I looked over Anna's shoulder just to see Kai making some signs at me. I don't even know how, but I got what he was trying to say: Aleksander was there
—But...?-Anna said
—But.... now it's time for you to go and... visit Mabel!
—Wait what? But today's Wednesday!
—Well, then go and... go see Kristoff! I mean not Kristoff cause he's buying... I mean, ice harvesting! Right, he's at work... um...
—What the...
—Go and see Olaf, he must be bored without Sven
I then pushed Anna out of the room
—What? Elsa! What are you doing?
—Worrying about Olaf!- I smiled as I pushed her out completely and dragged Kai in
—What is it?- I said
—Prince Aleksander has come to visit
—Is he already here?
—He is
—Well then... let him in... I guess
—You guess?
—No, just... Yes! let him in
And as said, Kai led him into the room and left us alone. The first few minutes were kind of awkward, then we just talked
—So... what brings you here?- I asked
—The... meeting?- he said
—But the meeting is tomorrow
—Well yes, but I... I guess I was just willing to see you
I smiled. There was a knock on the door
—Elsa?- it was Anna
—Oh no- I whisper yelled
—Elsa, I don't know if the whole "Aleksander" thing made you mad or something...
I covered my face with my hands, as Aleksander kept listening
—But, it's kind of freezing outside, so could you please let me in?-Anna continued
—The whole "Aleksander" thing?- He whispered
—I'll tell you later, but if my sister sees you, she'll freak out, just go and hide somewhere!
—What do you mean somewhere?
—Somewhere! Now, fast!
He quickly went out of the room by a back door and disappeared on the hallway
—Come in, Anna!- I said
—Oh my god! Outside is FREAKING COLD. Like not even exaggerating, even Olaf was cold
—Olaf's always cold
—I mean, he had... cold? You know what I mean! Anyways, I think I'll head up to sleep now or something, I'm really tired, but oh, do you need some more help with the lists?
—Uh, no, you can go now- I smiled
—Good night!- Anna said as she started walking towards the direction Aleksander went in
—No! You know what? You should... go by this way! It's way easier to get to your room from here
—Oh yeah, thank... Wait a minute! No, it isn't!
—Okay, it isn't but Gerda has been... cleaning and you're covered in snow so... go the other way!
—Uh... fine...? I guess
And with that, she finally left.
Aleksander and I spent the whole night taking and laughing... well whispering and... laughing quietly
