chapter 15 old face new way

They had come back from the mission, feeling pretty swell about things.
Yang gave her sister a noogie and an inappropriate laugh about the bar they were in.  Blake made no dramatic entrance for there arrival, a simple "hi" and "welcome back"

Ruby trying to get yang to shut up about something and weiss going to get some tea.

"Here its the tea you like" she set it down next to blake."

"Chamomile Tea?"

She nodded. Sitting on the bed across from her and crossing her legs. Weiss usually never did this- no scratch that she never did that. Unless she was chatting with ruby. She studied the heiress. She was kinda like a princess to put it simple. She had everything at her fingertips, or so blake thought, until she learned More about her family.
Her brute of a father was terrible.. Well terrible barely cuts it.

"Weiss?"

She looked up "yes?"

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing.."

Blake closed her book, and sat up.

"It's just"
She cocked an eyebrow and weiss glared at her "you asked"

"I suppose i did. Continue."

" blake... Is it me or..."

"Or...?"

"Has ruby been acting a little different?"
She blinked at the heiress so weiss continued embarrassingly "it's just ever since that mission we had to take... She's been clingy"

"Ruby has always been clin-"

"No,no,no! That's not what i meant" she gave a dry laugh "uh.. You see it's just when im talking to other people she's just been more touchy and i don't know how to respond"

"Weiss i think you're over thinking this. Ruby has always been clingy and especially towards you, if i may add, she clings to you more then her own sister. Yang."

"Well.. Yes i just don't get how-"

"She can like you after you've been so rude, mean, selfish,bossy?"

She flinched, playing with her thumbs "yea.. But you didn't have to word it like that.."

She smiled "you've changed weiss. You're nicer now...or.. At least to us. Maybe ruby just likes you even more now" and with that she walked off

Weiss laid flat on her bed "well... Maybe she shouldn't"

"Hello, ladies are you ready to go?"

" hell yea! I was born ready!" Yang put her thumb against her chest cockily

"Don't get trigger happy this time, im serious yang"

"Bu-"

Blake interjected wisely " you can destroy later. Work before pleasure"

"You would know" she winked at her

"Yang stop.."

Professor ozpin coughed into his hand to get there attention "lets just... Focus on the task at hand shall we?"

Weiss nodded eagerly.

"Alright then, you'll be getting some assistance. From zack and jade and while sun happens to be around he will help as well"

"Awesome!" He exclaimed. Fist pumping zack.

Jade winked at weiss. Her eye twitched in response

Ruby sighed "why do we need the extra assistance?"
