It has been a tough week for Amy. She had to quit from her job to go look for Sonic and Tails along Team Dark. Her boss wasn't one to give her vacations and when she asked for a couple of days off, her boss fired her on the spot.

It was a bit sad, she disliked the job, but she liked the restaurant.

Now she was trying to look for a job but it was hard when she didn't have a proper education.

She finished high school and wanted to strive for university, but looking at her financial situation, that wasn't going to happen any time soon.

She didn't have a proper apartment either. She lived on one of the dormitories the Resistance provided. It was alright. It got a little bit cold at nights but she had a lot of blankets, so she was fine. Water, light, and everything was provided as well.

She tried to be as positive as possible but it was hard when two of her agents left the Resistance that day.

"I am sorry Captain, we can't just keep working here." One of the agents said, "I am sorry, but we need to look for a place that can provide enough for us."

"I completely understand," Amy said smiling.

"Captain, sorry for the comment I am about to make but..." he added, "G.U.N. is offering a lot of entry-level jobs. There is even an academy you can join for free if you are good enough. With your abilities, I am sure-"

"I didn't ask for an advice agent. If you may do so, please leave now."

She regrets now talking to the couple in such away. They were just trying to help after all. Now, they were only 10 members in the Resistance. Five worked on the building and the other 5 were outside agents, the ones who did missions.

The Resistance needed sponsors, but the Resistance was no G.U.N.

In a way, it worked as the celebrity industry.

Let's take Omega as an example. Omega was known for being a hero and was part of G.U.N's Team Dark. People once saw him drinking Royal Purple synthetic oil. The next day, the company that produces the oil, contacted G.U.N and they both made a contract that Omega and all vehicles of G.U.N should use Royal Purple oil.

It was a 25 million ring contract.

But enough of explanations.

She was ready to take on the world again. She had several interviews today and hopefully, by the end of the day, she will have a new job.

.

"Agent-Sh-Shadow?"

"Yes?"

Shadow tried to remember the agent's name. Was it, Molly? Holly? He was bad at remembering names.

The girl trembled and she looked nervous. She looked at the ground, trying to avoid eye contact with Shadow, which annoyed him.

"Can you look at me in the eyes?" He said as he picked up the girl's chin, so she could look at him.

He didn't mean to tease her or anything like that, he just didn't like it when new agents wouldn't make eye contact.

Of course, the young cat girl blushed at his gesture but it gave her the courage to continue.

The brown cat gave a quick look at her friends who were hiding, whispering encouraging words.

"Would you ..." The car girl looked at Shadow in the eyes and continued, "Would you like to go out with me?"

Was that it? All of this fuzz for her just to ask him to go out with her.

"Alright," Shadow said, "Let's go right now."
