Chapter 6

Arman’s POV

Why do I need to have a POV, I’d rather keep quiet and let the lead characters tell what’s in their mind.

(YOONAKO: Ge lang, artehan moko Keith Arman, kundi wala kang POV kailanman.)

Tss. Fine. What a bother. (YOONAKO: SHUT UP, start now.)

As the author had mention, my name’s Keith Arman Valencia Tolentino. Heiress to the V&T Corporation.

My father is obviously a business man, and yes, I came from a wealthy and a well-known family.

Both my parents are the owner of the company. They were very determined to make our business recognized and be acknowledge by many.

But I kept my profile low, why? Because I don’t want their prestige and fame just to let others know my identity in this society.

I wanted to be acclaimed by my own aptitudes not just because I am a son of a business tycoon.

Though they want me to study in a prestigious University, I chose to admit in a not-so-known-but-a-predominant-school.

Son, did you took the position in your Tito Marlon’s branch?” that’s my dad, he was talking about the position of the assistant manager in one of the Metrobanks’ branch. Headed by my dad’s friend and also one of his business partners, Tito Marlon.

“Yes, I did. But I said, it will be only a practice for my practicum.” It’s not a typical work for an OJT, but because Tito Marlon is a family friend, he offered me a higher position.

“Is that so, anyway how’s school?” he asked. We are now having our breakfast right now.

“It’s fine. No changes. Just this OJT we’re having was added.” I said and sip a drink in my glass.

“That is good to hear darling. Are you not having fun in your school?” Mom said with sincere eyes on.

“I do, my team will be playing again this intramurals, hopefully, to get the championship again." they knew I play basketball and also a Varsity player.

"We surely want that too. By the way, how are your friends? Do you have any companion right now in your school?" she asked again. Never leaving her eyes in the soup she's eating.

"Yeah, I do. I'm always with them at school." I said nonchalantly.

"I see." she turned her head up and look at me in the eye. So did I. “How was your best friends? I've heard that the engagement party will also be held at John's birthday?" she tentatively asked.
