I stood in my room the following morning standing by the window. I looked out the window and stared down out at the green grass below. I stretched for a minute before heading to my closet and choosing an outfit to wear. After 5 minutes of trying to decide what to wear, I went with my uncle Kol's white long-sleeved shirt that I may have stolen and black skinny jeans. To top it off...I grabbed a pair of designer Italian shoes that aunt Rebekah got me for my 16th birthday. I looked myself over in the mirror and ran a hand through my hair before leaving the dorm room.

I walked outside to smell the fresh air when I heard Hope talking to Dr. S about a Dryad and testing out Landon. I raised a brow watching Dr. S get into his SUV and drive off. Hope watched him leave and turned around and walked inside. She passed me. "What the hell was that about?" I asked. "Landon." She said simply walking further into the building. I nodded my head. "Thought so." I stated heading back in. I looked around at the posters of Lizzie on the wall. "Any reason Queen Elizabeth's face is plastered everywhere?" I asked feeling a bit uncomfortable. "Honor Council. She's trying to get the witches vote to represent them." Hope explained. "Ah. And...how's that going so far?" I asked watching someone vandalize a poster. "About as terrible as I expected it would." Hope replied watching as well.

"Wait...Honor Council? Since when is that a thing?" I asked confused. "That's right...you were still asleep when the announcement was made. Dr. Saltzman is creating an Honor Council consisting of one werewolf, one vampire, and one witch. Emma represents all of the younger students. It was created for the reason of protection. The Arachne fiasco and the Gargoyle has got everyone a bit on edge because of the knife...." She ranted. I simply nodded my head staring at the Saltzman twins as Hope's voice began to drown out. "Stiles? Stillleees. Hey Earth to Niklaus! Stiles!" Hope said snapping her fingers in my face. I jumped back at the feminine set of fingers in my face. I blinked multiple times looking down at Hope. "Did you hear anything about what I just said?" She asked crossing her arms. "Uh....you said something about a lion, a witch, and a wardrobe?" I guessed jokingly. "Hilarious." She said rolling her eyes and shoving me aside playfully. I chuckled rubbing the back of my head.

I continued down the hall following Hope to Alaric's office. Hope made an announcement in the intercom to make Landon come down to the office. "So...you kissed Josie." Hope said in the quiet of the office. I glanced up at her. "Uh...yeah. But I don't know if that means anything. A girl can kiss a guy and not have it mean anything, right?" I asked denying the emotions. Something I should really stop doing. Landon walked in before Hope was about to answer. He looked at both of us. "What are you two doing here?" Landon asked. "Dr. Saltzman wanted me to administer your tests, starting with some weird mystical blood analysis." Hope explained. "No." Landon said. "Excuse me?" Hope asked. 'No. These tests determine whether or not I get to stay at the school, right?" Landon asked walking towards her. Hope nodded her head. "There is no way I'm putting my future in your hands; you're biased." Landon said. "I'm not biased. Besies, neither of us has a choice. Believe me, this is not how I would choose to spend my day, either." Hope said. "See? Biased." Landon said before turning to leave. "Landon. It would be best if you listened to my sister. For your sake. And mine...because I'd rather not have to kill you." I said. He looked over at me with wide-eyes. I rolled my eyes. "That was a joke. Lighten up. If I wanted to kill you, I'd have done it already." I said with a smirk taking a seat on the sofa in the office. He looked at Hope. "Don't listen to him." Hope said rolling her eyes. "Nik." Hope said looking at me. I sighed. "Fine. I'll leave you two love birds to your weird tests." I said getting up and leaving the two alone.

I walked down to the archive room and searched through the ancient books that lined the shelves. I flipped through a couple of books when I heard Josie's voice talking about the Honor Council campaign happening with another student. I peered around a shelf of books and took in all of Josie's beauty. I felt my face blush in embarrassment. I shook the thought from my head. "Whatcha starin' at?" A voice said from behind me. I jumped and turned around to see Penelope. "Bloody hell, Penelope! Don't do that!" I exclaimed running a hand through my hair. She let out a ring of laughter. "Why? I thought it was fun." She said with a smirk and shrugged. "Of course you would." I shot back. "So...whatever you're staring at obviously...has you...flustered." She said peering over my shoulder. "Ahhh...I get it now. You're staring at Josie." She said leaning on my shoulder. "I...don't know what you're talking about." I said quickly walking around the shelf to avoid her. "I don't blame you...I mean....she's Josie. She has that effect on people." Penelope said staring at her ex. I looked at her and glanced over my shoulder at Josie. "What's it to you?" I asked putting books back on the shelf. "Nik...it's me. I already know everything that goes on in the walls of this school and outside of it. I know about...the kiss." Penelope said whispering the last two words. I could feel my face become red as I tried to hide my reaction to her knowing about it. Her reaction to my reaction only made things worse. She started to laugh which got the attention of Josie. I quickly walked out of the archive room and stood in the hall of the school. God...I need to stop doing that! Also...WHY do I keep doing that?!
