I went to the Archive room and looked around at the books. I took a seat at a table after grabbing books on exorcism and controlling hosts. You won't believe the books that we have at this school. I flipped through the pages for a couple of hours searching for a way to control the fox inside me. So far, nothing. There's absolutely nothing in any of the books that mention kitsunes and how to control them. I sighed closing all of the books with a flick of my wrists before throwing my head back with a groan. "Wow. I have to say Nik...frustration is not a good look on you." Penelope said sitting on the table in front of me. I looked at her. "You try being in my situation and see how it feels." I said coldly. "Ouch." She said pouting. "Sorry." I apologized putting my head in my hands. "Word is that you destroyed the gym." She stated. "Wouldn't be the first time." I said. "Look. Nik...We're friends, right?" She asked. "I guess. Why?" I answered. "You know what today is right?" She asked again. "No." I answered. "It's their birthday." She said vaguely. "It's whose birthday?" I asked again squinting my eyes confused. "Oh my god, Wonder Boy. Where would you be without me? It's their birthday." She said grabbing me by the shoulders and looking in my eyes. "Oh shit!" I exclaimed with wide eyes as I sprung to my feet. Penelope jumped at my sudden reaction. I swung my arm out and the books flew back to their spots on the shelves, before heading to my dorm.

Josie and Lizzie are known for having extravagant parties for their birthdays. Hope and I...not so much. We didn't like attention that much. Well...she didn't. I liked it. It was something I got from our dad. I searched through my closet and tossed clothes over my shoulder left and right searching for the item. "Where is it?! Where is it?! Where is IT?!" I repeated standing up running a hand through my hair as I let out a breath. "Nightstand." A voice said. I froze as my breathing got hitched. I shuddered turning around. A woman stood behind me covered in ash. "M-Mom?" I asked. "Hi Kiddo." She said with a smile.
