The group began heading out into the big city, making sure to watch out for any unwanted guests. The boys all nervously clutched their weapons, just in case there was a zombie coming around the many corners they passed. They all kept huddled together as they got further inside the almost abandoned city. All of them were frightened out of their minds, all confidence from earlier gone. All but one.
Jungkook was strolling through the city without a care in the world. He knew these streets like the back of his hand as he had walked through as a boy as well as many times getting supplies. He loved the fact that the boys weren't confident as it would mean they would look to him for assistance; he absolutely loved kicking zombie ass, it was one of his favourite things to do now as he couldn't really have a hobby with the apocalypse going on. No matter how scared the boys were, they carried on following Jungkook to where ever they were going. They couldn't go back now anyway; they were too far away.
As the group rounded yet another fallen building a lone zombie jumped out at them making them all back away. As Jungkook was at the front, he was closest to the zombie. It made him smirk as he could finally kill another zombie and rid the world of at least one.Whilst smirking, Jungkook brought his trusty knife out of his pocket and held it in his right hand. He couldn't use a gun as that would most likely attract more zombies, if not a big horde that Is probably lurking around the corners. Staring at the zombie cautiously walking forward, he swung his knife out in front of him, striking the zombie in its temple, killing it instantly. He was satisfied with what he'd done and cleaned his knife of the zombie blood. Stepping over the corpse, Jungkook carried on with the journey not before looking back at the amazed and speechless group behind him. Eventually the boys followed the younger, also stepping over the now dead zombie.
Before long the boys found themselves in front of their destination; a big mall, which would most likely have a few zombies roaming around the dark halls and abandoned stores. It scared the group, the unknown creeping up on them making a shiver run down their spine. Still, the group followed their apparent leader into the mall, the door squeaking a bit from it not being used in a while. Their footsteps echoed throughout the mall; every step they took made at least a small step. Except Jungkook; he was used to these kinds of 'missions' as he'd always come to the mall to get supplies.
They looked around the mall, all the clothes were just left there as people had rushed in a hurry when the apocalypse started. In the middle of the path, one thing caught the boys' eyes. A teddy bear with a splatter of blood on its body. It made all the boys – even Jungkook – soften their face, sadness washing over them. The children and elderly were the first to go, they were just not strong enough to go against the increasing population of zombies. Some were lucky where they had incredible parents that helped them. However, most weren't lucky like them. Jungkook was one of the lucky ones, being one of the youngest to survive. His parents gave their life to him, giving him enough time to escape. He survived on his own, staying away from others, unfortunately that didn't go to plan.
The boys shook themselves out of their trance as they heard noise coming from one of the stores. It wasn't a groaning sound that they were expecting, but a deep chuckle sending shivers down each of their backs. The male stepped out of the store, watching them all carefully as they did with. A smirk graced his face as his eyes met with Jungkook.
"Hi Kookie, how have you been?" The young male exclaimed gleefully, earning only a deadly glare from the said male. "No hug? That makes me really upset." He said with a small, fake pout on his lips.
"Why are you here?" Jungkook growled out through gritted teeth. "Jackson."
"I'm here to see you, old friend."
