It didn't take long until Jungkook woke up from his short rest. His temperature was still high, and his fever was bad. They knew they needed to get tablets into him as quick as possible to ensure that it didn't get any worse. However, that did not seem to be going to plan. He was as stubborn as he normally was; refusing to have any tablets or even water. He kept trying to get up off of the sofa to carry on working but the others would not allow it. They tried to keep him still and laying down, however it was proving to be quite difficult even with 6 of them against him. It was quite frustrating for them as they were only trying to help him.

"You need to rest otherwise you'll get a whole lot worse." Taehyung tried to reason with the still struggling boy.

"Please just let me go and rest, I need to finish it." Jungkook said with a hoarse throat. He knew he was ill, and he knew that he should stop struggling but the thought of failing his mother was stuck in his head.

"No, we are not letting you kill yourself. You need to get better and then you can work again." Jin said in a stern voice, not leaving any room for arguing.

Jungkook slowly slumped back into the sofa, the fatigue slowly coming back to his body. He felt so tired and now that he had stopped fighting the pain had come back too. His headache was worse than it was before and now his stomach had begun to feel weird. It was becoming worse and worse; his stomach cramping and giving him the need to be sick. He choked back a sob as he began gagging, tears falling from his eyes as the pain became unbearable.

The others soon realised what was happening and tried to calm the poor boy down as one of them placed the bucket under his chin.

Soon enough the sound of violent gagging and vomit hitting the bucket.

Jungkook couldn't stop himself. He tried continuously swallowing so nothing came out, but his body was fighting against him. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stop. He hated feeling so vulnerable in front of people, however in this case he had no choice.

After what seemed like forever, kook finally stopped being sick, only a few dry heaves remained as well as him sobbing to himself. Yoongi removed the bucket from under Jungkook after making sure that he was done, leaving to go get rid of it and clean it so they can use it again if he needs it. Jin softly brought the sobbing boy back onto the sofa, holding him close to his side whilst the boy cried his heart out. The youngest's face was pressed into Jin's shirt, the fabric soaking up the tears that fell from the poor boys face. Jin continued stroking his hair, whispering sweet words into his ears, calming him down until he was only sniffling.

"We need you to have these tablets baby, they will really help." Yoongi said calmly and softly.

The boy shook his head, a small whine coming out of his sore throat. He really did not want to consume anything at all; he knew it would all just come back up and he didn't want that to happen.

"I know you don't want to, but you have to, it will only help you get better. Just take it with a bit of water and it will be alright. You do want to get better don't you sweetie?" Hoseok spoke just as softly as Yoongi, trying to convince the youngest.

After a little more convincing, Jungkook gave in, he didn't want to disappoint his hyungs.

The cold water was refreshing going down his sore throat. It washed away the foul taste that had coated his taste buds. However, the tablets weren't as easy. With how sore his throat was, the tablets felt all scratchy going down and it took a lot to not cough it all back up. He continued to drink more water until the discomfort washed away and his throat was no longer as sore as it was before.

He laid back down, his head still spinning, placing his head on Jin's lap, breathing in his calming scent. He still had a splitting headache and a sore throat and stomach, but at least the nausea had mostly gone down for now. He was tired so he decided to rest while he could, getting more comfortable on the sofa and Jin, hoping that he will be a whole lot better when he woke up later.

All it took was Jin's gentle fingers carding through his hair and the feeling of being safe and warm for him to fall into a dreamless, light sleep.
