The apocalypse // BTS x Jungkook

Chapter 8

I've literally just noticed that in Suga's part it says 'rolling with poop' and I almost died.

The boys all woke up from the sleep they had after the unnerving mission they had been on the day before. Despite of the bad occurrences the boys went through that day, they all woke up with a big smile. They had all connected with each other more and had gotten Jungkook to open. They felt like they were taking many steps forward from the first day they had met him. They were all excited to find out more about him, no matter what it was. They also wanted to share things with him so they could become better friends than they hoped. The boys got out of their comfortable bed and got changed into one of the many clothes they had got. Before going to bed the night before, the boys all took clothes from Jimin and Tae and put it all in the closets along with the other clothes already in there.

Coming down the stairs, they were hit with a heavenly smell. It was a smell they had not smelt in a while, and it reminded them of their childhood, before all this crap happened. When they entered the kitchen, they could see a range of different foods, sweet and savoury. Anything they could ever think of was there. From freshly baked pastries, to bacon and sausages spread all on the table. The sizzling of the bacon could still be heard by the stove with a figure standing over them.

Jungkook turned around showing a big smile that made the others melt when they saw it. They all thought how it looked like a little bunny smile making him seem even more cute and innocent than before. If they had not seen him fight they would've thought how the kid had survived this long on his own.

"I didn't know what to make for breakfast, so I thought id make a whole feast!" he said, excitedly, showing his bunny smile again. "Please sit down and eat as much as you want!"

Quickly, the boys took their seat around the large table, mouths watering at the sight of all the food in front of them. They just stared at the food, not knowing what to eat first, until Jin went for the bacon and everyone else started to dig in.

Jungkook looked fondly at the group as they ate his cooking, feeling proud that they liked it. He sat down on the last seat available on the end next to Tae and began eating some of his cooking, not really feeling that hungry as he had tasted his food whilst he was cooking everything. He had woken up early so he could prepare everything, so he was now feeling rather tired. Resting his head on the table, he closed his eyes, listening to the sounds of the boys chatting to each other whilst they ate, slipping off into a dreamless sleep.

The group noticed Jungkook slowly falling asleep and smiled fondly at him, realising that he must've woken up early for them. They had quickly finished the food and anything they had not eaten was put in the fridge for another time. Namjoon ended up picking up the youngest and placing him on the sofa, covering him with a blanket and tucking him in. The rest of the group began clearing up the kitchen for the younger, however there wasn't much left to do. Just wash a few dishes and tidy the sides. In no time the kitchen was spotless and the boys all went into the living room seeing Namjoon reading a book with Jungkook's head snuggled into his lap.

They all envied Namjoon but were still happy that Jungkook was finally warming up to them instead of just tolerating them. All the boys spread around the living room getting warm by cuddling into each other. Jin went to Namjoon and Jungkook and brought Kook's sleeping body onto him, his head still resting on Namjoon. Jin put his head on Namjoon's shoulder, his breaths slowly evening out until he was fast asleep.

None of the boys wanted this to end, they were finally happy together and decided to just not think about the negatives and be happy together. In no time, all the boys were resting peacefully together, sleeping without a care in the world. All of them had a small smile on their lips as they dreamed about each other.
