The apocalypse // BTS x Jungkook

Chapter 18

The boys woke up as usual, it had been a couple weeks since they had found out about Jungkook's mother. Everything had gotten worse, so much more worse than they had expected. They no longer saw Jungkook as usual as they used to; he was normally either with his mother or working in his office for long hours and then by the time it got to the evening he went straight to bed as he was exhausted from the day. He hardly ate either; the boys had to force him to eat which a lot of the time it wouldn't work. In the morning he was u before them and already working having not eaten anything. He would refuse the breakfast and lunch that was given to him and only say that he had to work whilst he has time and not waste it on unimportant things. By the time it had gotten to late afternoon the boys would all go up together and take Jungkook away from his work so they could all eat together, and he would get some nutrients into him. It was very difficult at those times because Jungkook would not make it easy for them. It got to the point where they had to threaten to tell his mother about it which would usually get him up, grumbling stuff under his breath. It was also a hassle to get him to drink, they would also have to force him more often as they didn't want him getting dehydrated because they knew that couldn't happen.

They were getting more and more worried about the boy, or you could say the shell of the boy. He had become a sickly pale colour, even more pale than Yoongi. He looked like a ghost. Everything about him was different; he was no longer the bubbly boy they knew, just a shell of him. They didn't know what to do, all the boy was focused on was his work. He wasn't looking after himself at all. He had dark eye bags under his eyes, his hair was dry and messy from It not being taken care of. Everything was just wrong.

Once the boys had gotten ready for the day, they all went to the living room to discuss the problem.

"We can't let him do this, it's making him ill!" Taehyung exclaimed.

"we know, but we've tried to help. I don't know what else we can do except forcing him out of that room." Jin stated, sighing.

"Maybe we should." Namjoon said, thinking. All of them gave him confused looks. "Look, he's getting worse as the days go by. I don't know how long he has until his body gives up and he damages it even more. He's pushing himself way too much that his body is getting sicker. He needs to eat and sleep, and the only way that's going to happen is by making him stop. Not completely but enough where he eats all that he needs and also sleeps enough. He needs to have a healthy schedule which we'll have to force on him for now with how stubborn he is."

"Ok, so firstly he'll need to eat 3 meals a day, so we'll have to either get him to eat with us in the dining room, or we'll take some food to his office and one of us will watch him until he's eaten all of it. Also, for sleeping we will need to make sure that he is sleeping enough at the right times. We could have someone sleep in with him each night to ensure that he's sleeping enough." Yoongi said.

"Don't you think this is a bit much? Like I know he needs it but he's not going to like this at all and will most likely rebel against us." Jimin said timidly.

"I understand that he won't like it at all but if this is what we have to do to ensure that he is healthy, then this is what we are going to do. This won't go on forever, just until he understands that he has to look after himself, no matter what is happening." Jin stated calmly.

"Alright, then it's settled then, we will start doing it today. We'll need to go find Jungkook and bring him out whilst the rest of us make breakfast." Namjoon finished.
