It was already night. The sun had set and the moon was the only light that guided me through the forest. My paws hit the muddy ground in a fast rhythm as I ran at an unbelievably fast pace. The trees around me were nothing but a blur and it honestly felt good to finally let my wolf take over. I had suppressed her for too long, knowing she was way more impulsive and aggressive than me.

I eventually slowed down when a river came into my view. I closed my eyes and simply listened to the sound of nature around me. My hearing allowed me to hear every small detail surrounding me. My nose twitched at the pure scent of nature which happened to have a calming affect on me.

I rushed towards the river and took a huge leap, safely landing on a big rock, far from the riverside

I rushed towards the river and took a huge leap, safely landing on a big rock, far from the riverside. Water surrounded me and the tip of my tail got wet when I sat down.

In my eyes, water was quite fascinating. I always had a strange attraction towards it and found myself searching for it when my emotions were hard to handle.

Water was simple and careless. It only followed one direction, without knowing where it would lead. It was naturally clear and didn't hide any secrets. I found that quite impressiv, even enviable.

Back home, we also had a lake that I usually went to when I needed comfort. I felt relieved that I had found one here as well.

I glanced down into the water and watched fishes swim by, completely oblivious to my sharp eyes. I couldn't resist the urge to play with them and immediately snapped my paw into the lake, scaring them for my own entertainment.

A loud, demanding howl pulled me out of my playful thoughts and my ears twitched at the sound. It came from a distance which I believe was the packhouse and although I couldn't understand the exact meaning of it as I wasn't a part of the pack yet, I knew that it was Yoongi. Directed towards me.

'Fuck, he wants me to return back to the house.'

I was about to jump back on the riverside and run back, but my mind stopped me.

He could easily track me and get me himself, however he wanted me to submit and return voluntarily. I huffed out a breath and laid down on the rock, feeling petty.

Maybe it was time for him to see that he didn't fully control me. That I wouldn't jump to his feet right away... But even I knew that I would do so without any restraints. He was my mate after all. I'd do anything for him.

I rested my snout on my paws and closed my eyes, only concentrating on the sound of water passing by. The howling continued for some time and I felt the need to listen to my mate. However, my pride and stubbornness kept me on the rock when I thought back to the words he had said to Namjoon.

If he thought it wouldn't work, I didn't see a reason for me to obey him. If it wouldn't work I didn't see why he wanted me by his side. He had shown me that he didn't.

I looked up and watched the crescent moon, accompanied by lots of stars. It was a pretty, clear night. There were no clouds or cold winds.

The sound of branches snapping pulled me out of my daze and I quickly turned around and stared into the darkness of the forest. Someone was there. I was shocked that I had only noticed now, considering the faint scent of daisies lingering in the air.

It didn't take long until a light brown female wolf appeared. She was a few inches smaller than me and swiftly walked towards the river side with a small bag in her snout.

I didn't bare my teeth but simply observed her, knowing she wasn't a threat. Her bright yellow eyes gave away her identity but I decided to stay put, anticipating her next move.

She leaned into my direction and sniffed the air. This seemed to give her the wanted confirmation when suddenly a bright light consumed her, telling me she was shifting into her human form.

It only took a few seconds before I saw her crouching body on the ground. I immediately noticed her straight red hair that complimented her freckles and yellow eyes. She got off the ground and pulled a large shirt from her bag, putting it on to cover her nude body.

Once she was done, she met my eyes and smiled gently. A rare smile that was genuine and warm.

I jumped back on the riverside and shifted into my human form, feeling the need to talk to her.

Without saying anything, she threw a large shirt at me so I could cover myself. I caught it and put it on, humming in approval when it covered me up to my knees.

"I'm Aurelia." She finally spoke up and pulled me into a friendly hug, "It's so nice to finally meet you." The light french accent in her words added on to the warm aura she gave off.

"I'm Rose." I smiled and hugged her back as I had no problems in showing affection. We broke the hug and Aurelia giggled at me, "I know, Jin told me a lot about you."

"You're his mate."

A proud grin spread on her lips and she rested her hands on her hips, "In the flesh."

I chuckled at her words, finding the pride she felt for her soulmate adorable. But who could blame her? When I had met Jin, I nearly fainted because his handsomeness was too much to handle. Not to mention that I had known him for less than 24 hours but already knew his personality was made of gold.

"You're really pretty!" She complimented enthusiastically and I was about to thank her but the sound of another wolf nearing us cut me off. I could tell by the scent of sweet walnut that it was another female. I was about to go into defensive mode but the reassuring eyes of Aurelia stopped me.

"Don't worry, that's just Jade."

I wanted to question who 'just Jade' was but it was too late when a figure shot out of the forest and rushed towards us.

A girl with emerald eyes and wavy brown hair stopped beside us. She breathed heavily and rested her hands on her knees. I suppose she was Namjoon's mate.

"Yoongi.. Mad... Coming.." She tried catching her breath and eventually looked up, meeting my eyes.

We stared at each other for a while and she eventually lifted her right hand and waved at me, "I'm Jade."
I introduced myself as well until Aurelia's worried voice caught both of our attention, "Yoongi is coming?!"

Jade nodded and a stressed expression took over her face, "He's coming to get Rose...and he's really mad."
