jin normally wakes up to see his beautiful wife next to him, hair all over the place with her mouth opened a little bit, with little snores coming out. but, this morning was different, your side of the bed was empty..and cold.
jin thought he would see you walking out of the bathroom but that's when he hears pots coming from the kitchen. when he makes his way there he's met with your back facing him and smoke coming from a pan.
"are you burning something?" jin says scaring you
"shit, baby you can't scare me like that," you put your hand on your chest as jin comes up to you with a teasing smile on his face, you smile back at him as you two wrap your arms around each other
"good morning to my beautiful wife," he kisses you on the nose and you just giggle
"good morning to my handsome husband," that's when jin starts to peck your jaw and makes his way to your neck, you turn back to your pancakes before things really escalate
"uh-uh mister, i'm still a little sore from last night," you pout and you flip another pancake
"appa!" a little voice shouts from the other side of the kitchen
"baby girl!" jin walks up to his princess as he takes her out of her high chair and kisses her on the cheek, your daughter giggles as her father shows her love and affection
"jin be careful with her pleasee-"
"honey you act as if i never held my baby girl before," jin chuckles as you come to them with places full of food in your hand. jin sets her down back in her high chair while you give her chopped up pancakes and sliced strawberries. you hand jin his plate as well and when he sits down you plop down right on his lap
"really? there's literally another chair right there," he knew in the morning time that you were always clingy, he wasn't going to admit that he loved it though
"why don't we do this often?" the question comes to your mind and jin just looks at you, "what do you mean?"
"i mean..when was the last time we've ever ate breakfast like this? you're always sleeping in and if it wasn't for me leaving the bed this morning none of this probably would've never happened."
"honey you know that-"
"yes i know that you're always tired but mornings like this is what i've always wished for us to do, i don't want this to become a one time thing seokjin and im serious," your husband finds himself laughing before kissing you on the nose once again
"okay y/n this won't be a one time thing..but next time i'm cooking."
"okay babe," there's a comfortable silence between the family as you all eat, giggles here and there from your daughter who's having a blast eating her food
"hey honey.." you hum in response which signals jin to go on, "what's a snowman's favorite kind of cereal?"
"oh my- jin no—"
"ICE krispies," jin bursts out in laughter as you just look at him and roll your eyes, you hear a giggle from areum
