you guys have been dating for one year, you would think that after 365 days someone would say i love you..but it hasn't been said yet.
of course you loved hoseok, he was your personal hype man, you teddy bear, your sunshine. you loved everything about the man but the thought of saying those three words scared you.
you had just came out of a toxic relationship that was built on nothing but lies when you met hoseok. surprisingly you two met at in n out burger where you decided you were going to cope eat at, and of course fate brought you two together, literally, you two bumped into each other causing your meals to end on the floor. you weren't the happiest camper at first but once you looked at the flawless man before you all of your troubles were gone.
you knew that you've been in love with him since you're eight month anniversary, hobi had taken you out to a fancy dinner with wine, jazz music, and everything else you could look for, that night you knew that he was your true love.
and now you two were sitting in an ice cream shop and a table off to the side where you were away from the crowd, hobi had got an ice cream mustache from his milkshake and you couldn't help but laugh
"what? is there something on my face?" his hands start wiping places on his face nowhere near the mustache, you laugh at his silly behavior
"it's on your upper lip hobes," you softly say while wiping it off with your thumb
once you wipe the ice cream off you can't help but stare at him and wonder,
is it a good time to tell you?
"what? don't tell me there's something else on my face," hoseok frantically asks and once again you laugh at him
"no..no i just..." you chuckle out a sigh as you put your head down, stirring your ice cream together, "i just love you, very very much. i've loved you for a while now but i've always been too much of a chicken to tell you and it's okay if you're not ready to say it but i just wanted you to know that-"
"y/n i love you too." your boyfriend says and you two stare at each other in awe, a smile quickly spreads across your face before you reach across the table and latch your hand with his
"i'm deeply in love with you jung hoseok and i'm never going to stop loving you," you confess
"i'm even more deeply in love with you jagi," you two smile at each other before leaning in to share a soft kiss
