Theo and I stood in front of the building where our apartment was. It was a cold day. Dressed like two Eskimos we were ready to cross the street and go to our favorite restaurant. Well, it wasn't really favorite but it was close and we were too lazy to go anywhere.

Hand in hand, we walked in and sat next to the window. We ate and talked, then we ate more and laughed.

Theo ran to the toilet for a moment.

A familiar man stopped next to our table. It was Omar. He looked surprised to see me. Small talk jumped in. Yeah, it was cold outside and yeah I was looking for a job.

-Look, about Theo... I want to apologize. I didn't really know what I was doing. I understand now-

It was my turn to be surprised. I could see that he was honest.

-Don't worry. Everything is okay.-

As I said that, Theo came back to our table. Omar smiled.

-I'm glad to hear that.- he patted me on the shoulder.

Omar shortly greeted Theo and left. A man that paid the bill a few moments ago run after Omarto catch up. Hand in hand, laughing and talking they walked to the car and drove away. Yeah, he definitely understands now.

It started snowing outside. Street laps tuned on. I looked at Theo. He looked at me and smiled.

Green eyes, messy hair, soft lips, small face, tiny body, nourishing hands, and comforting voice. Hotel California played in the restaurant. He mouthed I love you. I said it back.

Life is good.

THE END

So, I wrote this thing in three days. Well, less since I was writing during the night too. Since it was written in such a short time I never thought about sharing it with people. It seemed to be bare, raw, unfinished... But, here we are. I published something without editing it.

The next one is coming soon. I'm facing some problems with creativity. It's always like that when you're writing about someone who is witty, sarcastic and a little bit rude. It's hard to make that guy likable. There you go. Spoiler for the next story. One of the main characters is an asshole.

Much love,

Simon
