This Chapter makes no sense whatsoever. I started a couple weeks ago, re-started, added junk. I really love Clare so I'm kinda centering it around him lol XD. Mimi won't have many encounters on the first day, cause hey, nothing really happens first day . Sorry for being M.I.A. -NINJAPOTATO
Chapter 10
Please Explain?
Chapter ten
I don’t get the point of learning chemistry, or biology, or any type of science. Knowing what a solid, liquid, or gas, then yes, I get the point. But knowing the mass of some sodium bicarbonate? Really? Why not use google, or maybe-
“And so I don’t know what to do! My mother would kill me if I told her anything!” Samantha whispered to me.
I sighed. Closing my eyes I thought of my happy place and slowly counted to ten, hearing the thumping of my heart beats, completely ignoring everything around me.
After English class, I sauntered away in glee, relieved that I was away from the hell hole that boiled up in that heated classroom. Especially away from all the whispering and snickering, and most importantly the annoying female called Samantha.
But boy was I bloody wrong.
She followed me, hell yes, followed me, complaining about what she should do about her poor baby. A teen mom! What a shame!
I’m not heartless. The problem is:
I don’t believe her pregnancy story.
Just like everybody else. Heck, I don’t even think she knows how you can even get pregnant.
Now here I am, fourth period, sitting in the only empty seat next to Sammy girl. Now I know why there’s always at least one empty seat next to her. It’s because she won’t stop talking about herself. It’s harmless really.
Until you hear it all damn day.
Inside I’m just screaming for her to shut the hell up, but of course, the new and improved Miss Mimi sunshine must bear and smile.
And smile.
And smile until her poor little face will fall off.
I re-opened my eyes to find Samantha’s mouth still moving rapidly, emphasizing her oh so important points with bodacious hand gestures. The teacher is of course, some hundred year old man who has trouble seeing, and hearing…and being alive in general.
My eyes drifted around the room looking for some type of entertainment yet found every student either taking notes, or dying of inescapable boredom.
“And he won’t admit that he’s the father, so I can’t do anything in court, well I think I can’t. But maybe if he provides the crib-“
“Here why don’t I try to help your little problem?” I interrupted.
Her eyes lit up, and she leaned towards me flipping her blond hair over her shoulder.
“You promise?”
Uncomfortable at her close proximity, I just nodded and scooted to my right.
“Here, I’ll ask you questions, and you’ll answer” I said bluntly.
She wrinkled her nose in confusion, “How is that-“
“Shh! Just do it.”
Samantha just nodded in anticipation, waiting like I had the answer to all of life’s mysterious questions.
“Did he use a condom?”
She just kept waiting, and anticipating, like she didn’t even hear my question.
