>> A Horrible Visit<<
I grasped on the light switch and tried my hardest to switch it on, but no luck.
"Aria!" Elizabeth choked. I turned toward her and the sight of her took my breath away.
Elizabeth was clutching at her throat as if it were torturing her, which I assume it was. Her face was becoming red, and her eyes turned... a deadly shade of black.
"Ar-Aria... run" Elizabeth ordered, but I stayed at my position, petrified.
I didn't know what to do. I couldn't leave Elizabeth there being tortured by Jackie, but I also didn't know how to stop it.
In less than a minute, Elizabeth stopped choking, but her face was still red and her pitch black eyes were locked in mine,
"E-Elizabeth?" I stuttered, slowly walking toward her.
She grinned mischeiviously and spoke in a raspy voice, "Aria... you are useless... You'll never find out how I died and I will possess you forever. You have no choice but to give up. My brother will never give answers to a silly stranger who barely knows anything of what she is even doing. Your family will think that you have gone mental. " She taunted,
"Elizabeth, can you hear me?! Don't let her-" I got interrupted by a booming fit of laughter coming from Elizabeth's mouth. But no, it wasn't her that was laughing, it was Jackie and I knew it. Jackie was possessing Elizabeth and I could tell Elizabeth was trying to fight it. Her expression kept changing from cruelty to fear then back to cruelty.
"Goodluck Aria... you have 12 days remaining" Jackie then laughed evily once more and then left, leaving Elizabeth wheezing for air and collapsing on the floor.
I rushed toward her and lifted her face to see no more redness and pitch black eyes, I could only see fear and shock.
"You were p-possessed Elizabeth! Are you okay?" I stuttered. She hesitated to answer than nodded.
"Maybe looking through Jackie's past summoned her. We need to be more careful Aria. What did she say?" Elizabeth asked.
I thought for a moment, and decided no, I shouldn't tell her. She would be more frightened and we would fail the task. The more we're frightened, the more we're distracted. We couldn't think when we were panicking or when we were scared.
"She-"
"Aria... what are those?" Elizabeth asked in a shaky voice. I lsowly turned around and froze. My mind seemed to lose focus. My vision blurred from fear as I walked slowly toward the bathroom.
I followed... bloody footprints, and hands. It was as if someone badly bleeding was crawling toward the bathroom.
I gripped Elizabeth's arm and we both headed as slowly as possible toward the bathroom, ready for what was coming for us.
When we approached the bathroom, the feet and fingers crawled toward the sink and a threatening shiver slithered down my spine. Right there, on the mirror where blood was written for letters were "I will be waiting" The last letter of the sentence seemed to droop, as if the person who was writing it was losing strength and... dying.
My heart seemed to pound faster than the speed of light. My lip quivered as I knelt ont he floor and touched the blood. It felt fresh, as if the person who was bleeding came crawling in here just a second ago.
The blood stained my fingers as I looked at the ooze.
Fear flooded inside me. I did nothing but stare at the fresh blood oozing down my fingers.
Soon, I blacked out.
