>>>The Jacksons<<<
My family seemed to be very private. They all had a look of displease planted on their faces as if someone was chewing gum right next to their ears.
A woman walked elegantly toward me and stuck out her hand as I shook it. She had soft, coffee brown hair that was wavy and ended a bit below her shoulders. Her brown eyes looked calm and pleasing as if she had a good nap, and she were a yellow dress that ended right above her knees.
"My name is Allyza... Allyza Jackson. This is Stephen" she pointed at a tall, tan man with blonde hair, "and that is Joseph, Eric, and... our baby named Summer is currently at home. You will get to meet her soon."
I smiled kindly.
A feebly man came walking toward us with my luggages. He seemed to be pulling off some sweat given the fact that he had a hard job packing luggages for every adoption.
As I claimed my luggages, Allyza was at the counter signing papers confirming about her adopting me while Stephen seemed to be scanning her body.
"Alright, let's go" She announced and headed toward the exit, walking as if she were a model heading down a runway.
My family seemed so eerie. Its as if every person were uncomfortable talking or they were hiding a secret as if they murdured someone.
The Jacksons' house was a mansion. It seemed to be stories tall, many windows, beautiful gardens, 3 patios, a huge backyard, and an oval shaped 20-foot pool.
"Mrs. Jackson... your house looks utterly amazing!" I gasped, my head scanning the decorations of the house.
Allyza blushed blushed cherry red. "It does not technically belong to me, it is owned by Stephen, but thank you"
Stephen quickly kissed Allyza on the cheek where she blushed and headed to the two-door entrance. He inserted a silver card inside a tiny slot, and the door immediately opened. How fancy!
The looks of the mansion outside could have made a billioniare look poor, but the inside was ten times even more impressive. Sofas and chairs had many designs and elegant color, the walls were all decorated with picture frames of artworks, some even from the family. The bedrooms looked like a fancy hotel. The kitchen has a long table lined with tall chairs, and the appliances all look so advanced. This felt like a dream
"Good evening Mrs. Jackson, little Summer has been feeling a tad feverish today and-" A bony woman approached and said but stopped when she noticed me.
"Now who might this be?" She said curiously, examing me. "Jessie, this is Aria, Aria Summer who is now Aria Jackson. We have just adopted her today, so please make her feel welcome" Allyza explained.
"Oh, how wonderful! Nice to meet you Aria" Jessie said while cradling Allyza's baby in her arms. Jessie looked at with wondering eyes and... worry. Why would her eyes be filled with worry?
"Nice to meet you too" I politely replied. She nodded sternly and walked away muttering a foreign language under her breath.
I raised an eyebrow and looked at Joseph, he pursed his lips and looked away. Something really odd is going on.
"Right this way Aria" Jessie led me down several halls that were all filled with white doors, until we stopped right in front of a wooden door that was carved with my name on it.
I blushed. "You didn't have to do all these things for me" I said. "I must... Mrs. Allyza's orders" She insisted as she pushed open the door and gestured me inside.
My room made me feel like a princess.
Okay, end of chapter 2! Sorry if this is going a bit too short or whatever but things are going to escalate quickly where Jackie will come up on a few more chapters so stay tuned! Thanks for reading and enjoy!
