Dahdtoudi stepped quickly down the staircase with Zaiyu, T'ahrou, and Aichu lagging behind her. Toree had provided the "guest of honor" as the leader had called her, with a white tank top, form-fitting blue jeans, and some strange kind of footwear known as flip flops. Since she had tripped multiple times in the flimsy shoes, Dahdtoudi had opted to wear her own footwear instead.
When they arrived at the dining area, Dahdtoudi was disappointed to see that her father was not present. "Sarah, what is that under your shirt?" The blonde girl from earlier spoke up from the long table, gesturing toward the newcomer's chest.
"I wear it beneath my armor. It keeps my chest in place during combat." The younger female hummed in curiosity as multiple older females dashed around the crowded table to refill drinks and bring more food to the younger members of the clan.
"But you're not wearing armor...you don't need the bra with our clothes, Sarah."
"Melanie, maybe Sarah feels more comfortable wearing it." The blonde, Melanie, cast a stern gaze at a middle-aged woman who was filling a glass with a strange red juice before handing it to a young male child.
"It's not the way, mom..! Pastor Malcom wants me to teach her the proper way, so that's what I'm doing!" The older woman simply nodded in understanding before moving into another room briefly. "Anyway Sarah, you shouldn't wear bras. They're bad for your body."
"This fabric is not sufficient in thickness. I will continue to wear the undergarment."
Melanie giggled softly before motioning for Dahdtoudi to follow her outside. She did as requested with the other hunters following close behind. They stepped outside the group home and moved behind a corner wall; once they were out of sight of the other humans, Melanie turned to face Dahdtoudi and the other hunters. Giving the taller female a gentle smile, she lifted her own red tee shirt over her head and held it loosely in her hand against her hip. Zaiyu and T'ahrou instinctively turned their backs to the females, clicking to each other uncomfortably. Aichu, however kept her eyes trained on the two humans.
"There's nothing wrong with the human body, Sarah. You shouldn't be ashamed of it. We're all comfortable in our skin here...it's normal to see one another like this." Melanie reaches for Dahdtoudi's hand and attempted to place it on her own bare chest. "It's alright...go on, feel."
Dahdtoudi quickly yanked her hand away from the younger female, anger burning brightly in her grey eyes. "I will not commit such a dishonorable act! I care not for how your ways are here...I am only here for information, and once I have it, I will return home with my father..!" Melanie smirked before slipping back into her shirt and pushing past the brunette.
"Fine, but don't think it'll be so easy to leave. Once you join our community, the only way to leave is to die."
