Appearance; Rio has shoulder length black hair that hang loosely from her face, with a side swept bang. The tips of her hair is dyed a light auburn color. She has a pear body shape with slightly large hips and a smaller chest then most girls in her school. Her most striking feature is her brown, almost golden, eyes. She has freckles littered over her cheeks and nose area. She stands at 5'2 the same height as Nishinoya.
Personality; Rio is very reserved and shy, resulting her to get flustered easily. Rio is jumpy and very skittish around almost everyone but soon warms up to most. When she is warmed up to people she can be very talkative and blunt without trying to be. She is picky and doesn't enjoy overly sweet things which doesn't match her sometimes bubbly personality. Rio is an introvert but another side comes out when she is watching Nekoma play volleyball. From Kenma's smart tosses to Kuroo's blocks she finds awe in this but is too insecure about herself to actually ask for help with this.
Background; she had grown up in the Miyagi prefecture, after her brother had finished high school there her and her family moved to the Nerima Ward of Tokyo in Japan. She went to middle school with Kenma and stayed by the males side. When she found out he was applying to Nekoma she decided to go to wanting to stay by his side. Ever since she's moved and met Kenma, the two are inseparable.
Friends; Close friends; Kenma, Kuroo, Lev Bokuto, and Daichi (from Karasuno) friends; everyone on the volleyball team, and a few girls from her Figure Skating classes.
Crush; Kuroo, or Bokuto
Family; Unnamed parents, Unnamed older brother that went to Karasuno around the time the Tiny Giant was there.
Other; outside of school she takes Figure Skating classes since Nekoma didn't have that.
