Logan's pov

After riding out of town we finally stopped at a motel on the side of the highway where I paid for a room for the two of us. Then we got into are room, Jax sat on the bed and I said, " Wait here kid, let me grab a few things from my bike and then we can go eat at the diner across the street." He smiled and said, "  Ok mom." I hasitated but I made my way outside and grab some clothes and my gun and stuff in the back of my pants. I went back into the room and laid my stuff on the table and said, " You ready to eat kid?" He nodded and stood up, I grab his arm and we walk across the street and went inside. We sat down at a booth next to a window and a waitress came by and said, " What can I get for you and the kid?" I said, " Get me a pepsi, and steak with gravy, what do you want Jax?" He look at me I shock and said, " Umm could I get a glass of milk and a hamburger with broccoli on the side." I rose my eyebrow up to my kid and the lady said, " Thats all you guys want?" I said, " Yeah that's it for now." She said, " Alright your drinks will be out soon and your food will be getting ordered." I nodded one time and she left, " Jax I'm taking you back home, the road is no place for a kid to be raised on with their mother." He said, " Mom please I want to know you I want to live with you." I said, " Jax I'm not your mom but I'm your mother and I can't have that lable cause I'm left you." He started to tear up and said, " I know you weren't the best mom out there but you did it out of love and for my life, your my mom no matter what and I love you even though you don't think so." I let a tear run down my face and said, " Jax I can't make you stop calling me mom, if you want to call me mom that's fine and I love you too always and forever kiddo." He smiled, I reached over the table kissed his forehead and sat back down and look away while taking a deep breath looking back at him and said, " So let's just say you wanted to live with me on the road which probably won't happen but if it did kid would you?" He face lit up said, " I would cause I want to know my mom and be there with you to make some memories." I smiled and said, " Would you want me to take you back and adopt you?" He nodded numerously and I laughed and then are food and drinks came, while eating I said, " Jax before we can be family and you living with me, I have to take care of some things before we settle down and get my life together." He said, " Ok mom." I smiled and we kept eating and we talked about what he likes and doesn't like and I told him some funny stories of me being on the road and when we got done we headed back to are room. When we got inside he sat in the middle of the bed and I sat in the chair in front of the window and I thought of me promising him to tell him about his father, I opened the door and went to my bike and grabbed a envelope. I went back inside and locked the door and sat on the edge of the bed and said, " Jax do you want to see what your father look like and want to know more about him." He smiled and nodded and I got on the bed and out my arm around him and pulled out a picture of his father. I said, " This is your father Mike, this is him when became president of the club him and I were in charge of." He said, " His name is Mike... Thats cool, he looks so cool mom. Was he a great leader for the club?" I smiled and said, " He was one of the best cause he love his club members so much he would do anything for them and would never regret making a decision for the club." Jax smiled and said, " I want to be like him, I want to love a club like he did." I laughed and said, " One day you will my little Reaper." He look at me said, " Is that my nickname?" I nodded and he said, " I like it mom." I smiled and then he said, " What was the club called?" I said, " The Reaping Reapers." He smiled and said, " That's a cool name to call a club." I said, " Yes it is." I pulled him and kissed him on the forehead and said, " You need to get some sleep." He said, " Ok mom, will you?" I said, " Yeah I will." He said, " Ok mom, goodnight." I said, " Goodnight." After a few minutes he fell asleep, I was sitting in the chair and noticing how quiet it was. I kicked my feet up on top e of the table and laid back and fell asleep.
