I Let The Road Decide

chapter 7

Logan's pov

After visiting his grave Jax and I are riding back to the clubhouse but something was on my mind about that smell and that man on that bike at the cemetery. I felt like it was Mike or Mike's spirit but I knew either way it was reassuring me that I will be a good leader for the club. While riding I pointed to the sign that said, " Reaping mechanics," of the mechanic place where the clubhouse was in the bigger building. We turned into the lot I could tell that every club member was here even their families and their bike all lined up which made me happy. I park my bike and I got off and took off my helmet and so did Jax but I was hesitanting cause this is the last of me running away and now facing my problems. But now I knew it is time to do what I have to do for my family, I felt a small hand hold mine and I look down and Jax said, " Mom you can do this, you got it." I smiled and said, " Thanks kiddo," I took a deep breath and started walking. When I opened the door to the clubhouse everyone was talking then stopped when I walk in and everyone was looking at me then they made a path for me to the table. We got into the room where the table was and I seen the head chair where I walk to and I placed a hand on it and took a deep breath. John came from behind me and said, " It's ok Logan he would want you to." I pulled the chair out and I decided to sit in it and everyone came into the room and I look at the table where the club's logo is in graved in it and then at the skull. I grab the skull and knock it twice against the table where they all stood quiet and look at me and Jax, Jax was standing next to the chair. I said, " I know I have been gone for a very long time and I apologise for that but now I'm back and ready to take care of business that is unfinished. I will try my best in my options that is best for the club and your guy's family and I swear to the club that I will never leave and take things head on and I will be the Reaper when it comes to us. I will be damned if anyone or any club thinks they can get us and I will reap till they are gone. I am telling you guys this so that I can be accepted back into the club and making me the leader for the greater good." While saying that the club and their members were all shock that I was speaking and that I vowed my life to the club. John said, " Every club member in favor of Logan being the leader of the club say I all those oppose say may." The members surrounded the table and all of them shook their head and said, " I," then John said, " Logan Reaper you are now the Leader of the Reaping Reapers." John grab my old club jacket and I stood up and John handed it to me and I put it on and I grab the skull and said, " this meeting and vote has now been officially closed," I slammed the skull against the table once. Everyone was clapping and the rest of the club decided to talk to me and give me a hug. Then we made are way to the bar slash hanging area, the club ask about what happened with me and Jax and of course I told them. Everyone was drinking and having a good time and I was happy that everyone is having a good time. Then after an hour of having a good time someone with a jacket saying rookie said, " The cobras are in town and they don't look like they are driving through." I closed my eyes and opened them and said, " Thanks rookie." I got on top of the bar and said while talking loud,  " Listen, hears the plan, boys grab your guns and head outside and rookie's you guys will keep the club lock up. Families you guys will stay in here and hide in the rooms." Then I hopped down and the guys grabbed their guns and they headed outside, I turned around Jax was there and I gave him a hug and said, " It will be okay Jax, We just have to make sure they are just passing through, and I promise I'm coming back to you okay." Then I gave him a kiss on his cheek and then I got up and lock the door. The boys asked me, " Now what are we gonna do?" I said, " We will wait by the gate and if they come into here we will give them a chance to go back home and if they don't we will shoot them." They all smiled and nodding their heads and one of the guys said, " That's what I'm taking about." We pulled are bike to the gate and we waited, after fifteen minutes went by we heard their bikes coming and I said, " Be ready, " they loaded their guns and so did I and putting in the back of my pants. Then they pulled up and their leader Rob got off his bike and so did I and we towards each other and we stop. Then he said, " Well Well look who we have here boys it's Logan the Reaper of mass destruction." They laughed and said, " Yeah that's me Rob what do you want?"
He smirk and said, " We heard you were in town and we wanted to confirm that and giving you a warning."

I smiled and turned to look at my guys and I grab my gun out from my pants and turned around fastly where my gun was facing Rob and then I he put his hands up. I said, " Is this confirming your sight of me being here and the leader of my club?" After doing that his guys pulled their guns out and my boys did to.
" What is this for Logan?" He said with a little shake in his voice.
" I want this to be a warning. Come around my town again and I will kill you myself. So make your guy's stand down and I will let you go with your life and never come back. Don't scare my town or do something stupid. You got that Rob." He nodded and said, " Ok Logan we won't and we will return back home." Then I put my gun down on my side and he went back to his guys where they started their bikes and went back the way they came from. Then I put my gun in the back of my pants and then I turned around to see the boys smiling and then I said, " What are you guys smiling about?" One of the boys said, " It's great to have you back and damn it feels good to be bad." I smiled and they all patted me on the back and I said, " Let's all get back to are families and go home." They nodded and we all headed back to the club and the rookie's opened the door and the families look at us and I said, " Their gone." They all clap and then I said, " Let's all go home with are families and enjoy their presence." They all nodded and then I felt Jax hug me tight and he said, " Mom are they gone?" I got down on one knee and nodded and he gave me another hug and it felt like he wouldn't let go so I pick him up and carried him outside to the bike. Then I put him on the ground and said, " You ready to go home?" He nodded and I smiled and we put on are helmets and got on the bike and rode to home.
