I Let The Road Decide

chapter 11

Logan's pov

After the mysterious man was in my house I called an emergency meeting, I rode back to the club house and ran inside. The boys were all looking at me if I was a stranger, I sat down and said, " Boys listen, someone or some guy was in my house and gave me this paper, he didn't tell me when to go. By the element of surprise we will go tonight, so grab your big guns and let's head out and roll." They all nodded and we all got up out of our chairs and headed out but before I could leave John grab my shoulder and said, " Do you trust this information, I mean all we know that it's an address on a paper, what if it's a trap?" I looked at him and smiled and said, " John I have to trust my gut and it's telling go to this address." He nodded and then we walked out, one of the rookies grab my gun and gave it to me before walking out side. We all got on are bikes and headed out and with a pickup, all I could think is about Jax being alive and in my arms or could he be dead and maybe this is a trap. After riding an hour we were in the middle of nowhere and just a warehouse with the same amount of guys maybe less. So we turned into it and it's the address where I was supposed to get my son. I got off my bike and grab my gun and I walk up to one of the security guys and punched him in the mouth and he fell and I said, "where's your boss?" All his guys pointed there guns at my guys and two pointed at me. The guy gets up from the ground and says, " Go inside but not with your gun and u will see him." I gave my gun to John and said, " If you don't see me come out with in the next 3o minutes shoot them all understood?" He nodded. So I walk back to the guy and he said, " This way," I filled him and when we got inside he left and shut the sliding door behind him. It was empty with only a few big lights and a little room off to the side, I ran to that room and opened it no one was in it. I punched the glass out of the door, and then took a deep breath and then I heard footsteps. Then I here, " Mom... mom." I ran out of the room quickly to see Jax tied up in a corner, I ran to him and cut him free saying, " It's ok Jax I got you your safe." He gave me a big hug and started to cry I said, " Its ok, let's get out of here." He nodded but then he slowly look up and I knew someone was behind me. I got up and turned around and seen it was James, Jax's uncle that wanted to kill me I said, " James if you want to kill me or my son just kill me not my son he doesn't deserve to be killed it should be me for all the pain I caused you and the rest of the family."

He was so mad and said, " Family what family, I'm not your family not the rest of the family is you bitch."

I lightly push Jax behind me incase something happened and I said, " Jax get behind me. James you can't forget me and Mike were married and I also married the club when he became president of the club you can't forget that. He knew the risk of coming president and you know he did cause you told him that it was a bad idea."

He look so mad and punched me with his gun in the mouth and said, " Shut up, shut up Logan."

I fell to the ground and Jax put his arms around me and I said, " That night when he died he knew it would go bad or good but he wanted that deal. It would have drove him crazy if he didn't get the deal. Even though Mike and the other president had some harsh words he did what he thought was going to work in the long run. But he was wrong and that's what got him killed and me if he didn't save me from getting shot at." I look into his eyes and could tell he was gonna kill me but then he smiled and said, " Oh I'm not gonna kill you Mike is Logan." I look startled and said, " James he's dead just get that through your head he's gone." He smiled and look up and pointed his gone at the ceiling and said, " Brother if you please come from out of the dark and come to light to show your wife and son that your alive now." I hear slow movement shuffles of boots coming the dark corner and then someone came to light but had there head down. Then he walk over to us then he look up and it was Mike, I was so shocked I didn't feel myself get up from the ground and I just look at him. I said, " Mike... Mike is that really you."

He didn't look happy and did a small smirk and said, " It's me Logan. I'm really really sorry for playing dead that night and having to go through all that and rasing Jax on your own. I didn't know you were pregnant with him and I didn't know it was going to cause all this chaos. If I could go back in time I would to change how that night went down-." He started to sniffle and tear up the same time but I cut him off.

I said, " Mike it's okay I will always forgive you cause you are still my husband, and I know you would go back In time to change everything. Just know if I die tonight I want you to not let Jax see this he is too young. Promise me you will take good care of him and keep him safe at all times."

He let one tear fall to the ground and said, " I promise Logan I always will."

I grab Jax from behind me and I said to him, " Jax you are going to live with your dad at home cause my road has came to an end but I will be riding in the sky if you look real hard okay little Reaper." Jax started crying really hard and then James gave Mike his gun the James grab Jax and walked him outside while Jax was crying. It was only us, me and Mike. I got closer to Mike and said, " Before you kill me I would love to hug you it's the last thing I want before I die."

He got closer to me and gave me hug and kiss me and said, " I will always love you and so will Jax, you will forever be in are hearts. I love you Logan and I'm so sorry I have to-."

I cut him off by saying, " Mike I love you too and don't be sorry you have no choice." I step back and shut my eyes and said, " It's okay just do it." While I said that James came back over to us and laughed and said, " Mike just shoot her." I still had my eyes closed and I heard several bangs go off, I thought I was dead but several seconds went by, I opened my eyes slowly. I see that I'm alive but when I  look Mike shot his brother in the legs and James fell to the floor. I look at James and then at Mike. Mike said, " Logan get behind me now." I got behind him then he said, " James if you ever come after my family again I will kill next time don't think I won't cause I will." All James could do was nod and then he screamed in agony then all the boys came inside and look at the scene that happened. They were all shocked to see Mike alive but then John walk out of the crowd and came to us then he look at Mike. John said, " Mike is that you?" Mike nodded and then John started to cry then gave Mike a big hug then John look at James and said, " We will call for help for you but don't you threaten your brother and his family again." James nodded while crying, then Mike grab my hand and said, " Listen well boys, I'm alive and I will tell you why later but for now on instead of one president for the club there will now be two, all those for say I." They all said, " I," then they all started clapping their hands then we walked out of the warehouse. Mike and I went to the pickup where Jax was in, Mike opened up the door and pick him up and Mike said, " Your mom is alive." Then Jax look up and seen me then Mike put him on the ground and he ran to me and asked, " What happened?" I told him, " Your dad save me once again." He smiled then Mike said, " Lets all go home." We all nodded and Mike put Jax back in the pickup with the rookie then, Mike and I got on my bike. He was riding while I sat on the back and then we went home.
