Chapter Seven | The Book Of Love — 9th February 2020
"Hello, Harry." I said, answering the phone.
"Juju, how are you?" Harry asked.
"I'm well... how's the family?" I answered.
"We're well just wish the media would leave us alone." He said.
"I've seen the photos. I do not understand how they found you all." I said.
"You know very well how they found us but that's why I called you. Juju, I need your help." Harry said.
"What is it?" I asked.
"We need to change location and since you're in London, we were... hoping that we could possibly stay at your place in British Columbia... can we please stay there until we figure something else out?" Harry answered.
"My home in the University area is a trophy home. The principal rooms on the main floor are spacious and bright. Upstairs has four bedrooms including an updated master bedroom, bathroom and huge walk in closet. Meticulous gardens, park-like setting, a large courtyard with views of Pacific Spirit Park and the Acadia River. Is that one you're talking about?" I asked.
"Yes, that's the one." He replied.
"Okay, it has a one bedroom suite and wine cellar can be found on the lower floor. Nanny quarters with a private studio is just off the main house. Only a short drive to the university campus, golf course and beaches. I'll tell my housekeeper, Elsa to expect you guys soon and Harry don't worry about finding another place to stay. You guys can stay there for as long as you want and I can come visit soon." I said.
"Thank you, Juju and that would be great. You haven't seen Archie since he was one month old." Harry said.
"I know things have been hectic for me." I said.
"I know I've seen the articles, I knew racism was big issue for Meghan and I with the press but I did not expect them to come after Daniel as well." He said.
I sighed.
"I mean they really expected that we marry the typical or suitable people like Catherine or Jack. Anyone who even has a different background to them is tainting the bloodline for them." I said.
"It's very sickening but I'm proud of you standing up for Daniel and yourself. Juliana, I hope you know you have Meghan and I's support. If you need anything we will be there for you." Harry said.
"I know and thank you. I think everyone here is trying their best to be united front but it's slipping. I knew things were a hot mess but I can see what the problem is. You did the right thing, Harry, and do not let them make you think otherwise." I said.
"That's the encouragement I needed, Juju." He said.
"Well, you can count on me to get this family straight but Harry, I'm afraid grandpa does not have very much time left." I said.
"I know." He said.
"Just make sure you call him and talk to him as much as possible." I said.
"I will." He said.
