Dedicated to my friend @ReginaPhalangeX0X0 since she's one of the sweetest souls out there.

Hello! How is everyone doing? Hope you all are safe wherever you are! We have a new update here! And it is a really short one, sorry for that!

In case you don't remember what happened last, here it is:

"Ah! You must be the new girl, Rebecca, is it?" Mr. Blake asks to which she just nods. Turning towards the class, "Students, she is Rebecca Brown, a new comer to Bekenstein. Please help her while needed and be friendly", he says. Not being a much fan of small talks, he asks Rebecca to sit in front of Hela, the only seat available, beside none other than Jackson Hayes."

Rebecca's POV

I stood at the door waiting for – I glance at my schedule – Mr. Blake to notice me. After a minute or two, the noise dies down and he finally takes notice of me and I let myself in the class. Taking in the comparatively better interior of the classroom with – THANK GOD – white walls, and high ceiling fans and slightly bigger windows, I scan through the students sitting on the wooden desks. A red haired student particularly catches my attention, quickly introducing myself to the class I search for a desk of mine to sit in. At the same moment, Mr. Blake subtly gestures me towards a seat – to the only seat- in front of the red haired I noticed earlier. I notice a few pairs of eyes staring at me as I make way towards my assigned seat, making my usually extroverted self very uncomfortable. Oh well, I try to reason with myself that I am not just a new girl, but the new girl.

Mr. Blake clears his throat, thankfully getting all the attention away from me. As I start to take my books out for the class, a few loose sheets from my book fall on the ground and in a hurried attempt to pick them up, I bang my head hard on the desk – hard enough for focusing all the attention on me again, just GREAT!

A chuckle and then the sheets on my desk again was what it took for me to notice the boy sitting behind me. Short wavy raven hair dominating his oval face; skin color almost the same as my dad, that brown without the effort of trying to get a tan, eyes crinkled up in a cute smile almost as if waiting for something. I break off from my trance as realization floods through me that I've been staring at him since like forever, ugh! My awkward self quickly just returns the smile and turns back trying to concentrate again at what Mr. Lake – BLAKE – was saying, resulting in another hearty chuckle from the boy behind me.

A few minutes later my concentration breaks off again because of a picklehead continuously shaking his leg beside me. I look up to tell him to shut the eff up but the bell rings and he gets away pretty fast almost as if in an unseen hurry. I shrug it off standing up and look up to see Mr. Blake talking to the redhead girl I saw earlier, and her nodding looking at me. To avoid any confusions I walk to the table where they both were, and put forward my hand to the redhead, "Hey..Rebecca, Rebecca Brown". She smiles back and shakes my hand firmly, "Hey! Hela, Hela Barnes. Actually um," she continues "Mr. Blake was just asking me to give you a school tour, it's your free class right now too, right?" I glance at my schedule and notice that I indeed have a free period. "Great! Shall we go then?" she asks as I nod in approval and follow her lead out the door.

(A/n) I know, I know the chapter ended REALLY fast sorrrryy! But believe me frequent updates are going to be there and hence the short chapters :( I was delaying very much in writing longer chapters so I was like screw it, short chapters it is with more regular updates (hopefully?)

Anyway, hope you all liked the *chapter*! Please do leave suggestions and constructive criticism is highly appreciated!

Also, pretty please share the link of this book.

Okay. Bye.
