Brumous:  of grey skies and winter days;  filled with heavy clouds of fog;  relating to winter or cold, sunless weather.

"Difficulties are meant to rouse, not discourage.  The human spirit is to grow by conflict".

October

It was finally October. While I was coping while hanging out with the pack, I could have said anything about Bella. When I would come home from patrols, I can see her from the woods where she sits in her wooden desk chair, looking out the window with a heartbroken face on. She has started to sleep and eat less, she had gotten way skinny, and it was starting to worry me.

I was sitting downstairs at Emily's house, eating one of her famous muffins, since the guys had gone on the morning patrol. Sam had left me off the hook for a while, always saying that Jared or Paul would take it, and then the two of them would argue with me that they would do it instead. So instead of having a huge brawl and shifting in Emily's house, which I know always made her worry, I just let them do it.

Emily sat down on one of the wooden comfortable chairs beside me with a binder, she grinned from her spot, she said "You up for some wedding planning? It beats then going to school". I grinned and nodded my head, she opened up her binder and asked me a bunch of questions. Like what color should the flowers be for the wedding, what type of decorations/themes? It was so much fun hanging out with her, I didn't know that we had wasted four solid hours for just planning, till I heard the three of them walking in, being as loud as they always are.

Sam and came over and pecked Emily on her cheek with the scars lightly, and then lightly kiss her lips. Emily let out a small giggle when they pulled apart. Sam turned towards and gave a wolfish grin, and then ruffled my hair. He said, "Ahh, I see you got roped into wedding planning". I rolled my eyes as I laid my head on Emily's shoulder, I said "Actually, I don't mind planning your wedding. It makes me feel special. Besides, it helps to get my mind off of other things".

Emily patted my head and gave it a soft kiss, she whispered: "It'll get better, I promise". I gave her a small smile and a nod of my head.

November

It was finally November now. Bella was getting worse, now she wasn't going anywhere out of the house besides going to school. She has started to scream, probably having nightmares of the night of when the stupid bloodsuckers have left us in the woods. She was still sitting in the same wooden chair, staring out of it. She was also had stopped eating, I would make her a little thing of food, and leave it on the dresser, but in a few hours when I back to retrieve the dish, the food was untouched.

I let out a sigh as I was sprawled on Emily's couch, I said "I don't know what I'm going to do with her Em. She's not eating, and I can tell that it's freaking out dad. He even brought up that he's thinking about sending her back to her mother, hoping that it would help her or maybe fix her. But I think she's broken. She's too stupid, she had made it out like that stupid bloodsucker was her life, which is completely and utterly fucking stupid!". Emily sighed from the small one-seater chair, she said, "You just have to give her time, Mi. She's really hurt". I sighed but nodded my head, I said "I just wish that I can go into her mind and erase what that leecher did to her.  He hurt her beyond repair! Next time I see him or any of them, I'm going to rip their throats with my bare teeth!". I could feel the tremors coming into my muscles, I bolted off the couch and out the doors, I shifted as I reached the line of trees.

I made myself run off the anger, not wanting to go back and hurt anyone, especially Emily, I wouldn't live with myself.

December

It was finally December. I had finally decided to give up on Bella. She was driving me crazy with her sadness, especially with her screaming at night. I felt bad for dad because he always rushes over to go and coddler her since I used to go and help her, but after the first few times in December, I just gave up on her. Dad must have seen the tired looks on my face since when we came home from school, he had stopped both of us.

Dad looked at Bella with a sad look, he said, "You're going to your mom, Bella". That made Bella look up from the ground, she said: "I don't want to leave". Dad sighed and said "I don't want you to leave. Mira, go pack a bag, you're going to go stay with Sam for a few days. I can see your tired". I nodded tiredly as I went inside the house to pack some more clothes, I pulled my phone out to call Paul to come to pick me up since if I did, it would be dangerous. Plus, dad wouldn't let me drive myself anyways.

Paul agreed to pick me up and said that he was on his way to pick me up. I sighed as I sat down on my bed, and slumped over onto the bed. I slowly drifted off to sleep, not noticing being picked up.

But after all these months of hanging out with the pack, I had gotten over the bloodsuckers leaves.
