The closet door creaked open. Out came Epiales, having a hard time holding in his laughter, "and that was hilarious but as you can see the cereberus is hunting you down."

"Is this all a game to you?" Mason barked as Epiales closed the closet and tiptoed to the side of the bed.

"No, you're seriously going to die. But I've lived long enough to know that without some sort of humour, the world will drive you insane," Epiales chortled.

"You are already insane."

"Haha, perhaps," Epiales smirked, he then ripped Mason out of bed, "jokes aside. If you want to survive, you've got to use that mind of yours. You've got to be mentally strong. You need to find your will to live, and it must be unbreakable... You must face your fears, or else you'll be the insane one."

"Could you repeat that? All I got was, I had to be insane, to be unbreakable et cetera," he admitted as his hands mess his hair, a sheepish smirk gentle on his face. Why was Epiales sounding like Steve when giving advice.

Epiales just stood there in utter shock. He has to figure a way to help Mason without alarming Cerberus. He kept his prison guard busy by offering her two victims. With that Mason and him had some time.

"Why am I trapped in a nightmare loop?" Mason added.

"As I said, you're dying. Your body is stuck in a coma while you are trapped in this realm," Epiales explained.

"By you," he accused, wanting to fight. He rushed and swung a punch at the face of Epiales, but his fist went through as he was smoke, making him look stupid.

"No, this is on you and that girlfriend of yours, " Epiales said, deviating from the truth.

" Girlfriend. I have no girlfriend... Ohh her. What did she do?"

"She pulled you out of your body, " he stated, but he should have added little more info about the domino effect it caused. He should probably tell him that the beast didn't like it one bit. But he should definitely tell him that the beast's solution was to drive Mason insane or hope that his heart gives up first.

"So I'm in a coma?" he murmured. The room began to shake as Mason hyperventilated.

"Calm down, Mason," Epiales said as he tried to comfort him. The walls of his room started blurring away. Blackness surrounded Mason as fear poured out. Under normal circumstances, Epiales would enjoy the meal and increase his power, but that'll endanger all he worked for.

"Is this a nightmare!" Mason asked. His breathing short and fast. He clenched his chest as he fell to the ground.

"yes," Epiales answered, "calm down, it's okay if you know it's a dream you can be in control."

Mason couldn't hear anything besides the thumping of his heart. Everything was caving in, everything was a blur. Suddenly a soft hand touched his face. A beautiful woman in red kissed him. When his vision cleared, he couldn't believe what he saw. Ellen was kissing him. Epiales smirked behind Mason.

And just as she came she vanished, "wait," Mason said with weak words, "Epiales! How could you play with my emotions like..."

Epiales warped Mason to Ellen in the real world. He watched machines keep him alive, "...like that," Mason finished.

Ellen sat beside him with Kyle. They were just watching over him. Kyle's phone rang, causing him to leave the room. Ellen was alone with Mason. "Wake up," she whispered in his ear. She wept over his chest. Mason watched her cry on his body. He tried to hold her, but his hand went through her.

Ellen then wiped her tears, gently she held Mason's face before she kissed him. Out of shyness, his face turned red, but he was in awe. Ellen Monroe was kissing him, his sleeping body was being kissed by his crush.
