I skated up to the school boundary, where I could feel the atmosphere of hell. Just kidding. Most kids would say that, But for me, I'm fine with school. No complaints, whatsoever.

"Skar!" A familliar voice yelled behind me. I turned round,

"Violet?"  I squinted my eyes, to try and see clearly. As she walk right up to me, I could see her perfectly now.

"Vi!" I ran to her, and gave her a hug.

"I missed you so much. How are you? I haven't seen you in like three tousand years." I said as I released her from the hug.

"Oh, c'mon. You're exaggerating. Just about five hundred years, maybe?"

We both laughed.

"Violet?" I saw Casey curiously standing behind her. I immediately smiled, because I knew what their reaction was going to be like.

When Violet turned her head around, she tilted her head to the side and had a confused face, like she was figuring out who was the girl standing before her.

"It's.. me.. Casey." Casey said, pointing at herself.

"Casey?" Replied Violet shockingly. "You look so different. Good different."

"Oh, Well Thanks." Casey smiled.

That wasn't the reaction I expected from both of them.

After a while of silence, Casey squealed softly. Then Violet was slowly having a really wide smile one her face.

Then it happened. Both of them was just yelling and squealing, telling each other how they missed them.

As soon as they stopped, we started walking in the school, to our locker. I started the "Interview" which people say I do all the time when a friend of mine comes back home from somewhere far away.

What happens is that I ask them a bunch of questions because I just want to know what happened with their life, being away from here.

Violet went to Australia to continue her studies. Me, Casey and Violet had been best friends since 4th grade. At the end of middle school, Violet told us that she was going move to Australia and it tore mine and Casey's heart apart.

"How hot was it in Australia?"

"No winter time at all."

"Was the studies easier here, or there?"

"Here."

"Why did you suddenly come back, after how many years?"

"I uh.. begged my dad. I found it hard living there."

I stopped asking her questions as we arrived to our lockers. Casey's locker had always been beside mine since freshman year.

We had to go to the school counter to get Violet a Lock for a locker. Once we did, we went.

"Cool, you're beside Ryan's locker." I grinned.

"Ryan?" Asked Violet, with her eyes widen with curiosity. "Ryan Wembler?"

I nodded.

"I missed that goofball!"

"Where is he, though?" Casey raised an eyebrow.

We looked around, trying to find where he is..

"I think I know where he might be at." I said, pulling a grin on my face.

I led them to the science lab, and there he was, sitting on the floor with his laptop and tweaking things, being a wiz-tech as he is.

"Sup, Wemblerr!" Casey ran up to him.

Ryan looked away from his laptop's  screen and when he saw us, his face lit up immediately.

"Heyy" He said with a slight giggle.

I've always thought that he had the sweetest smile ever.

He stood up, and didn't recognize Violet until he took his gadgets off the floor.

He looked at her, speechless. "Do I know you?" He asked.

"It's me, Ry-ry. Violet." She replied.

"Goodness gracious, I can't believe it. It's really you" His eyes wide open, stunned of what he sees.

"Alright, Yeah, she's back. Blah, blah. Now let's go, we're gonna be late for class." I told them.

We stepped out of the lab, and walk straight to our homeroom.

As we were walking, I saw him. Who? Oh, nothing. Just Dylan Evans whom I've had a crush on since Sophomore year. Here's a personal description of him..

Senior, Tall, Fit, Dark haired, Blue eyed, Perfect smile, Basketball MVP, and last But not the least, he can be cute and hot at the same time.

He's totally going to be mine this year. I know it.

If.. only he didn't have a girlfriend. Yeah, his girlfriend, Melanie Banks. Cheerleader, blond, kinky and sassy.

I know what You're thinking.. Yes, Exactly like those stereotype couples. But It's a bit different here. Melanie seemed like a sweet girl. She never called people names or rolled her eyes to anyone. She basically just mind her own business.

The four of us, walking through the hallways, Dylan sipping some water from the water fountain. Leaning on the steal table, his soft lips wet and dripping.

It's weird how everything was in slow-mo and it's like there's music playing in my head, like those in the movies.

Passing by him and his friends, and trying to break my stare from him But I just couldn't help it. I kept walking, aiming to survive and reach our room without embarrassing myself in front of him.

Our room was a few steps away, and Dylan stood still after he drank some water. He was about to walk to his own room.

I caught a glimpse of him looking at me, but when I tried to smile at him, I had a weird feeling underneath my shoe as if like I stepped on something.

It was my shoelace.
