Everything's still in slow-mo. People's laughter were low pitched because of that effect my brain is making.

Then suddenly, it all snapped. It all turned back to normal. People pointing, and laughing at me. I asked myself "Why" for a while, then it hit me. I looked down and realised, my hands were on the cold floor. I tripped because of my stupid shoe lace.

I lifted my head up, and saw Casey and Ryan looking down at me with concern, then they helped me up. However, Violet were just standing in the middle of them acting like she didn't see anything. It's pretty peculiar.

I got up on my feet. I couldn't help but to look at where I first saw  Dylan earlier. His friends were laughing so hard beside him and his face seemed like he was trying his best to keep his laughter, But couldn't help it so he just bursted out.

I felt embarrassed and just, humiliated.

My friends helped me to get to our classroom. When we stepped in the room, Ms. Palma, our Geography teacher, was standing next to the teacher's desk, waiting for the students to settle in their own seats.

The four of us passed by her, and she approached me.

"Ms. Riley." I turned my head around, "Yes?"

"How is your sister? " She asked, the wrinkles showing at the side of her mouth and eyes as she smiled.

"She's good" I replied. "She's about to move out, in about.." I squinted to look at the wall clock hanging behind her, "An hour."

"Oh. That's wonderful!"

I gave her a smile that I honestly didn't mean. I just felt shitty that moment. But, I apparently felt guilty that I did that, because I knew that she just really meant the best for my sister.

In class, subjects we were learning.. Geography, Math, English, but all I could think of was what happened that morning. How it felt to fall in front of half of the school.

"Ms. Riley." I felt a warm breath beside my ear. "Ms. Riley" The voice's volume increases. "Ms. RILEY" I opened my eyes, seeing the students staring at me. Others even rolling their eyes.

"Sleeping in class on your first day?" Said the teacher, I happened to not recognise. "That is very unacceptable."

"I'm sorry. I slept with my sister, playing the radio in full volume last night, because of her nerves about her freshman year." I explained.

"Oh. Stella Riley?" She asked with amusement, and suddenly her face lit up, like a burnt candle that was brought back to life. I nodded.

"Well, then. You're excused for today." I grinned as she turned back to teaching.

It's a nightmare to live in a world with a perfect sister. So perfect that no one else notices you. However, I have my advantages. That's an example right there. People loves her, which kinda make them love me too.

But what sucks is, that everyone expects me to be exactly like her.
