Hello everyone! Here's the chapter where they actually go home, I promise. I imagine the gates and the atmosphere to look like that, except the gate has taller spires. Sorry that this is such a long chapter.

"How do we get there?" Ciel asked in a momentary lull of words from the doctor, who had been relaying everything Sebastian missed during his absence from home.

Dr. Pagete turned around to look at the little earl. "We have to find the gates."

"What gates?"

"The gates that separate the demon realm from the human realm." Sebastian spoke up for the first time in a while. "All demons who.." Sebastian was overcome with a wave of pain and had to stop talking.

"All demons who need to travel between the two realms, but weren't summoned, have to travel using the gates." Dr. Pagete finished the butler's sentence.

"If you were summoned to the demon realm, do you have to use the gates?" Ciel asked.

"No. You don't use them if you were summoned."

"Then how do you get there?"

"Similar to how this prince came here to be your butler." Dr. Pagete patted Sebastian's back. "You can manifest in whatever realm you're going to."

"Makes sense. What are..." Ciel realized something. "I mean, are they like the gates to Heaven people see when they die?"

"Yes. Except we're not going to see those awful beasts." Dr. Pagete responded, referencing the angels, then looked around the forest they were walking through. "The gates should be around here somewhere. I don't think we passed them."

Sebastian spoke up again, his voice quiet. "I think I see them over there." He raised one trembling hand and pointed a few feet away from where they were standing. Ciel could just barely make out something tall rising from the darkness, like a spire.

"You're right, little prince. Why, I would have just walked straight into them." They proceeded over, and Ciel felt the hairs on his arms and the back of his neck begin to stand up. There was a dark aura emanating from the gates, one he could almost see as a black mist rising up from the spires. "Here we are. Wonder who's working today?"

"That would be me." There was a voice in front of them. The air in front of them shimmered and the rest of the gate slowly became visible. The gate was made out of a shiny black material. The spires were topped with spikes, piercing the black mist around them.

Then the person who the voice belonged to appeared. He resembled Dr. Pagete, seeing as they both had white hair and pale skin, except this person looked younger.

"You're here to gain access to the realms?" The stranger's voice was monotone. "I hope you have your travel card."

"I have mine." Dr. Pagete reached into his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper, covered in holes. "I don't know if the prince has his."

"I can't let you on then, unless you have enough travel passes left to accommodate them." Dr. Pagete handed the stranger his pass, who then read it over. "You have four passes left. Are all of you seeking access?"

"Yes, I'm bringing all of them along."

"Which realm are you looking for access to?" The stranger's unique eyes - blue ringed with red on the outside - roved over the three of them.

"Corvus." Dr. Pagete responded.

"Then you can go. There are some routes that are closed today due to maintenance, such as Aranea and Flos." The stranger used a hole puncher to put three more holes in Dr. Pagete's travel card. "Will it be a round trip or one way?"
