Tyler knocked on Arlies door, she opened.
"Ready to go?" He asked.
"Yeah let me just put on some shoes." She said letting him go inside.
"So you really wanna go to the beach?" He asked.
"Yes I'm sure stop asking." She laughed while sitting on her bed to put on sandals.
He jumped in next to her, "we can always stay in and watch a movie." He suggested.
"We could buy you said I can do whatever I want wherever I want." She smiled down next to her to see him laying down.
"I can't swim though to don't expect much."
"You can't swim?!" Her mouth dropped.
"Hell nah Imma drown." He said.
"I can teach you."
"Hell nah. My life is not gonna be in your hands. I love you and all but not that's much yet."
Her heart dropped, then she realized he meant that as friends.
She rolled her eyes, "Fine whatever. Be that way, now get your ass up." She said getting up.
"Your bed's so comfortable though." He said.
She grabbed both his hands to try and get him up, "Tyler you're fat!" She struggled while getting him to stand.
"No you're just not strong." He laughed.
He finally decided to end her struggles and stand up.
"Come on let's go." He said throwing his arm around her neck.

They got to the beach during sunset and took off their shoes to walk along the shore.
"Thank you for taking me." Arlie said.
"No problem." He smiled down at her.
"So you really can't swim huh?" She teased.
"Nope." He laughed.
"What about Austin and Myles?"
"I would think so. I don't think our parents would wanna make the same mistake they did with me."
She laughed.
"So you just finished high school...how was your prom?" Tyler asked.
She cringed, "it was prom."
"Who'd you go with? Was it a complete jerk? A dick? Come on you can tell me."
She didn't want to say who because she knew it would ruin this moment. But she also knew Tyler wouldn't stop bugging her.
"It was...It was Duncan." She said.
His expression changed, "really?"
"I had no one to go with and he said he would take me."
"That's nice."
"How about you?"
"I went with my friends."
"You didn't have a date? How?!"
He laughed, "like I said. I'm not good with girls."
"You can be, just not with all."
"But I did look fly not gonna lie." He teased.
She rolled her eyes, "bullshit. Show me."
"Alright."
