"So it's really happening..." Arlie said looking down at her ultrasound photos.

"It really is." Tyler said as he drive the two back home.

"What a way to end the year." She laughed.

"I'll admit, I'm scared as hell. But seeing it and hearing the heartbeat made me feel different."

"Same, it's just...going fast."

"You think."

"I just don't really know what to do. How do I even tell my family?"

"I'm still debating how to tell mine."

"Why?"

"For the same reasons as you."

"What about the team?"

"I have no clue."

"Kendrick's coming over tonight. So is Meyers and Elle."

"Well look, Kyrens coming. We could use some practice."

She laughed, "hell yeah."

It was around 5 when everyone showed up but the last to show was Duncan.

Arlie was watching cartoons with Kyren on the couch to try and get him to take a nap so he can last through midnight.

"Nice to have a little break?" Tyler asked Kendrick.

"A little bit. It's just hard not getting to be with him all the time."

"I bet, I mean you miss so much."

"Exactly. But she's a natural."

"She is isn't she." He smiled watching her.

"So how far along is she?"

"What?"

"I know you two are having a baby. I mean all the signs are there."

"A month..."

"Damn so it happened right away?"

"I'm so scared...I don't want to fuck this up. I mean technically we were only together around 2 weeks when she got pregnant. I don't know what's gonna happen in a month. And I definitely don't want to force things for our kid."

"Why do you think me and Kyren's mom broke up? Forcing it was doing harm to him. But you two are good."

There was a knock on the door, Tyler went to open it.

Duncan was there with another girl.

Kendrick walked over to see Arlie and Kyren passed out on the couch, Kendrick picked him up and toon him to Arlies room since she said it was fine.

Tyler walked over and pushed her awake, "what?" she mumbled.

"Duncan's here." He said.

She opened her eyes and saw him with a familiar face.

Her heart sunk.

"Cassie...?" Arlie asked.

"Long time no see." Cassie smiled as she walked over to hug her.

Arlie hugged back and still in shock, "not to be mean but what are you doing around here again?"

"Well me and Duncan are mending things. Hopefully for the best this time."

Arlie gave a fake smile, "oh that's nice."

Arlie had no problem with Cassie. Especially with her being one of the nicest girls she's met. Her and Duncan used to date when he was in college and broke up when he got in the league.
