Arlie and Tyler waited in the room for the doctor to come in.

They were getting another ultrasound to make sure the baby is healthy and growing.

But with everything that had happened Arlie is stressed about something going wrong. She's been through a lot of stress since she found out she was pregnant.

Even she's surprised nothing bad has happened so far.

"It's nice too see you again, Ms. Parker." The doctor smiled as she walked in.

"Same here." Arlie said.

"Alright you should know the routine. This is gonna be cold." The doctor said before putting the ultrasound gel on Arlie's stomach.

"And there it is." The doctor said turning the monitor to let Arlie and Tyler see the baby.

Tyler smile grew across his face seeing how big the baby had gotten.

The doctor let them hear the heartbeat, "it's a strong one for sure." The doctor said.

"There's only one right?" Arlie joked.

"There is only one." The doctor laughed.

Tyler reaches out to hold Arlies hand which she allowed.

She held on tight to him as they both witnessed their child.

"So when can we find out the gender?" Tyler asked.

"That's a great question, after about 9 weeks we can do a blood test and it could come up but a formal way is around may be around 12 weeks or after the 12 week mark." The doctor answered.

"So we could do the blood test now?" Arlie asked.

"We can and it'll actually be helpful as well to tell us if the baby has any conditions as well."

Tyler drove them both home. Arlie did take out blood to do the test.

"What do you think the baby's gonna be?" Arlie asked.

"Honestly...I'm gonna have to go with a girl." He smiled.

"You'll like a little me running around?" Arlie laughed.

"I think that'll be dope. I'll even make her have a good sense in style."

"Ty, how can you if you don't even have that?"

His mouth dropped as he pretended to be hurt, "you don't think I got a good sense in style?"

"Hell nah!"

"What how?!"

"You just POP way too much."

"That's a good thing?"

"If you want it to be."

"Just love insulting me."

She laughed and noticed he had taken a detour.

"Where are we going?" She asked.

"I thought we could do something fun tonight."

"But you have a game."

"I'm aware of that. But after wards."

They got to Target and Tyler jumped in a cart, "push me." He said.

"Hell nah you're too big." She laughed.

"I'm just the right size."

She rolled her eyes and tried to push him, "not gonna happen." She said as she failed to move him.

He jumped out and she jumped in.

"Push me." She laughed.

He listened and pushed her around knowing how swollen her feet have been getting.

"So why are we here?" She asked.

He pulled into the fruits section, "get..." she said but before she could finish he had already gotten her strawberries.

He knew they were her favorite especially dipped in chocolate.

"Trust me, I already know." Tyler laughed.

He grabbed grapes, blueberries, and other healthy things since he has to watch what he eats and she needs to stay eating healthy things.

"Don't go buying the whole store." She said.

"I'll try not to." He said pushing the cart again.

He stopped at the clothes section and started looking at pajamas, "Ty what are you doing?" Arlie asked.

"Which ones?" He asked holding up two different colors.

"Uh...The black ones? What are you doing?"

He threw two in the cart and ended up finding a huge fluffy blanket.

"Tyler." She called out.

He looked down at her as she was still in the cart, "yes?" He smiled.

She threw her head back to see him, "what are you doing?"

"Giving you a break."

"A break?"

"Yes. A well needed one too."

The heat had just won the game and Arlie was waiting in Tyler's apartment for him to come home.

The door opened and he smiled at Arlie once she turned to see him.

"How's the pajamas?" He asked putting his stuff down and taking off his jacket.

"Comfortable but how come you haven't told me what's going on?" Arlie asked.

"Let me get dressed." He said disappearing in his room.

They both mended their relationship and decided to stay as friends. They wanted to make it easy on one another and their baby.

After a few minutes Tyler came back out. His hair was wet and down meaning he was taking a shower.

"Come with me." He held out a hand.

She took it and stood up, he led her into his room. She smiled as she saw he did another stay in movie theater.

This was something that had made her fall for him.

But she pushed that aside and hugged him, "you didn't have to. But thank you."

He hugged her back, "anything for my baby momma." He said which made her laugh.

They laid down on his bed, "this blanket is huge." Arlie said trying to find the long side for his legs.

"That's why I got it." He said sarcastically.

"So what's tonight's movie?" She asked.

"I'll let you pick."

"For real?"

"Yep."

"Shit ok then."

She started looking through netflix and settled on Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

"What's this?" Tyler asked.

"You're kidding right?" Arlie asked in shock.

"No..."

"Yeah you're not my baby daddy. HELL NAH!" She laughed.

"Nah I'm the best you're gonna get."

She smiled to herself because he was right.

"Same here bitch." She said.

"Damn right." He  said.

"Thank you for this though."

"Of course." He wrapped his arm around her as they leaned back and enjoyed the movie.
