Arlie made her way to the heats practice gym. The team had just finished practice and wanted to hang out and Jimmy invited Arlie.
Jimmy wanted to get everyone back together and be peaceful.
Tyler and Duncan were cool again.
Arlie and Tyler were friends once again.
Duncan and Arlies relationship was iffy.
They didn't mind being near one another but they still haven't really addressed anything.
"There's my sharpshooter." Jimmy said as he saw Arlie walk in.
Tyler turned around and his heart began to flutter seeing her walk in.
A smile grew across his face and Duncan noticed.
Now Duncan's only intention was for Arlie to be happy. That's all he truly cared about. And if that meant her being with Tyler than he'd be fine with it. Although it still hurt him.
"Well I don't know about that but I'll take it." Arlie laughed.
Then her phone started to ring.
She looked at the caller and it was her doctors office.
"Hello?" She answered the phone.
"Who's that?" Bam wondered.
"Oh that's great!" Arlie said.
"I have no idea." Tyler said.
"Wait what?!" Arlies mouth dropped.
Everyone looked over at her.
"Wait are you serious?!" She asked.
"Arlie?" James asked.
"Ok thanks...bye." Arlie put her phone in her pocket.
Everyone looked at her still wondering what had happened.
"Well?" Jimmy asked.
"IT'S A GIRL!" She yelled as tears rolled down her face.
"IT'S A WHAT?!" Tyler asked.
"YOU'RE HAVING A GIRL DUDE!" Bam jumped from excitement.
Tyler ran over and gave her the biggest hug which made him pick her up and spun her around.
"Another girl." Goran said.
"Dude for real." Dion said.
Dion has two while Jimmy and Goran have one. And Dwyane has a girl as well.
Tyler put her down, "It's a girl?" He asked.
"It really is. SHE's a girl." Arlie cried.
Tears of joy ran down his face, "so it's gonna be a little you running around." He laughed.
"Congratulations." James said.
"Yeah that's great, is she healthy?" Jimmy asked.
"Yep, everything came back fine." Arlie said.
"Even better news." Goran said.
Everything felt more real for Duncan.
What if he had never been on a two way? What if he was with the team on a regular contact? Would things be different? Would him and Arlie be together right now having a baby?
It was killing him not knowing if things could be different.
