"Mom, I'm begging you just leave Meranda and Mikey alone." Amara said.

Marista's eyes gave her child a mean look. "No, I need to talk to her!"

Figg pointed. "Dock eight."

Amara shot him a very mean look. "REALLY?" She ran off after her mother.

"Let's go follow the drama. I'm bored." Figg said with a laugh. He turned to look at Paulie. He saw his friend's eyes following Marista. "Dude, she's like forty-something."

Paulie said nothing as they ran over to Mikey's boat. They heard Amara trying her best to reason with her mother.

"Let me go get her, okay?" Amara said, seeing Mermista walking toward the boat with Sebastian.

Marista tried to go around her. Amara was quick to block her.

"What's going on?" Mermista asked. "Aunt Marista?" She sounded surprised and confused. The last time Marista had been in SeaWorthy was almost nine years ago.

Marista turned around. "How well does Meranda know this guy?"

"Mikey loves her. She's been hiding her feelings for him for months. Now they're happy and together." Mermista told her.

Marista looked at the crowd around her. "All of you know?"

I came over to her. "Miss Marista, please calm down."

"Stop wasting my time! My baby girl is down there with that boy!" She yelled out.

"Hey, Mikey?" Meranda said, laying with him. "Do you hear people yelling too?"

Mikey's lips kissed her head. "Yeah. I don't wanna be a part of it."

"Let me get Meranda, okay?" Amara said. "Just please give me a minute."

Her mother was an uptight overly emotional mess. She nodded and gritted her teeth.

Amara knocked on the closed door before opening it. She shielded her eyes. "I'm coming in, but I promise I'm not looking."

"What's going on?" Meranda asked.

"Mom is up here causing a scene. Get your butt up here before she comes down there." Amara told her.

Meranda looked at Mikey. "Just freaking great." She looked at her sister. "Okay, now please leave so we can get dressed."

"Is she coming?" Marista asked Amara.

"Yes. Give her a few minutes." Amara said and came over to her. "I know you're upset, but who she loves is her choice. I think we both know her choices have been awful. Mikey is different. He's a real good guy."

"I can vouch for my friend." I said with a bright smile.

"Sebastian's right, Marista. We all can say good things about Mikey." Mermista said.

Marista was quick to add, "I'll find out for myself."

Bite my head off why don't ya! Mermista thought to herself.

Marika had been with Jordan on his boat that was on dock nine. They had the door closed and locked so they hadn't heard anything. They were now coming up to the crowd. Her eyes saw her mother. "Mom?"

Marista turned to look at her and saw Jordan behind her. "Hello. I'm guessing you were with him on his boat?" She snarkily said.

Marika was very surprised that her mother was talking to her this way. "Wow . . . okay. Yes, mother I was. Why on earth are you here?"
