Calm before the Storm....

Miles POV

It was around 5 in the morning when I woke up. I have plans today and I have no time to waste. I was on my way to the shower when my phone began to rang.

*phone call*

??: when are we meeting miles ?

Miles: today around 1 tonight. I'll bring the duffle bags you bring the guns. Line everyone up and tell them the boss is on the way.

??: ok what the plan when we get there ?

Me: what do you mean Christine ! The soldiers line up and pile bodies we move in and out like ghost.

Christine: ard ma don't be yelling at me ..... Emotional ass !

I started laughing but had to end the call quick ; I heard Lorenzo moving around.

Me: look I have to go but don't forget to tell Malaysia.

With that I hung up. Just as I was turning around I bumped into Lorenzo. I hope he didn't hear anything.

Lorenzo: who you on the phone with at 5 in the morning ?

He asked in a raspy voice.
I looked up at him and smirked. I tried to slide by but he wasn't having it.

Me: Jake from state farm

He laughed but quickly stepped to the side now blocking my WHOLE path.

Me: Christine Lo ..... She's having a mommies night a.k.a sleep over ..... Girls talk. Me , her , Alyssa Lynn , Malaysia and Jordan ( Malaysia's son )

Lorenzo: why are Yall talking so early
?

Me: why are you asking so many questions ?

Lorenzo: just answer me

Me: pregnant women don't sleep well.

Lorenzo: was that hard ?

Me: very

He bit his lip and I instantly wanted to jump on his bones.

I pulled him by the string on his basketball shorts to the bed. Once there I stood up and wrapped my arms around his neck.

Me: you're going to stop talking to me like your my father......

Lorenzo: ha I'm talking to you like a husband should talk to his wife. Is that a problem ?

Me: yes ..... Yes it is.

I pulled him closer and kissed his lips. He wrapped his hands around my baby bump and pulled me closer.

The kiss was so intense. I didn't want to let go. I rubbed my hands through his hair as he began to kiss my neck.

Me: Lo..... I think I'm ready

Christine POV

I just stepped out of the shower. I have to go meet Malaysia and drop Alyssa Lynn off at my "mothers" house.

Its going to take all day to prepare for tonight. I walked into my closet and put on some army fatigue cargo pants , a Tommy Hilfiger sports bra , and my red bottom sneakers.

I walked into Alyssa's room and slowly crept up to her crib. Ugh I live for this little girl. She opened up her green eyes and gave me a toothless smile.

I'm proud of what I'm about to do with Miles. It may seem bad to others but in the long run its supporting Alyssa and having her not want or need for anything. I want her to have the childhood I never had.

I picked her up and carried her to the bathroom. It was time to get my stinky butt clean so she can go with her nana.
