Chapter 4: How do i stay?

*James POV*

I walked through the doors where the Alpha was finishing him meeting. When everyone left and he was the last one in the room i walked up to him. I sat Roxan down in the chair next to me.

" Do you need something?" The Alpha asked nicely.

"Well you see, i saved this girl from being killed by my other pack, and i came here to get her safe. She has no where to go and i cant go back to my pack. I was wondering if i could stay here, with your pack?" I asked while he kept looking at the board, not looking at me at all.

*Alpha Sage POV*

Something smelt good, like pine cinnamon. I didn't dare to turn around when i herd a guy walk in. I couldn't resist holding back anymore, so i turned around and looked at him. He wasn't who i was after though. I looked around the room, then looked back at him.

" Do you have someone with you?" I asked with kind eyes.

"Y. Ya, i have the girl i was talking about. Do u want her to wake up?" He stumped on his words. I nodded. He reached over and a young girl rose from under the table.

'MATE! MATE! MATE! ' My wolf screamed over and over again. 'GO TALK TO HER GOD DAME IT!'

'Hold on, we have to be settle. ' i responsed  calmly.

I looked strait into her eyes while she looked strait into mine. She walked up to me and touched me softly. She jumped back when we felt sparks coming from where we touched. She looked at her hands and ran behind the other guy.

'WHY IS OUR MATE HIDING?!' Sam my wolf yelled taking over. My eyes turned black and walked up to her and kissed her. She just stood there. Eyes closed, knees failing to stay strait. I picked her up and set her on my lap on the chair.

"So, what just happened?" The guy in the room asked with the most confused look on his face.

He started to reach for her, and i growled. "MINE!" I said pulling away from his reach.

"Oh! Its ok, she's yours. But my adopted daughter. Ok?" He tryed assuring me.

I let my grip go alittle. "So, you want to stay here, cuz your old pack tryed to kill my angel?!" I almost yelled, i felt my mate tense up. I held her more, making sure she was ok. "Sorry. Yes you both can stay, but you must live in the castle with me and the guards, so she doesnt get hurt. You will also become my 2nd in command. You willmove in here as soon as possible. " i said as my mate started falling asleep in my arms.

*Roxan's POV*

I dont know who he is, but he makes me feel safe. We have sparks every touch we make, he makes me feel alive when ive been so in the dark. Im hoping we never leave, cuz this is where i want to be.

My parents told me stories of wolves and humans in one living form. But i never really believed. When i saw my parents turn to wolves, i realized they where preparing me for who i will become. Am i a Wolf ? I am not sure. I will know sooner or later.
