Chapter 8

'Can we please go for a run now? I wanna feel the wind in our fur!' She wined.

'You know, we can sneak out the back. If you answer one question. What is your name?' I asked.

'Amber! Now let's go!' She yelled.

'How do I shift?' I asked her jumping out the window.

'Think of me, and I will take over. Trust me, I won't take us far, yet you are still in control. You lead the way!' She said as I shifted and we ran into the forest.

I smelt something not quite right.

'Do you smell that?' I asked Amber when we got 10 minutes into the forest.

'Rouge, be as quite as possible.' She said climbing the nearest tree.

*Amber POV*

A tall wolf passed us towards the pack. I had to tell them they where out here. Someone could get very hurt or worst.

I jumped out of the tree and ran as fast as I could. When we reached the pack house the guards carried Roxan inside after we shifted.

'ROXAN TELL THEM THERE IS A PACK OF ROUGES COMING THIS WAY!' I yelled.

Sage came running up. "WHY THE HELL WHERE YOU OUT THERE ALONE!!! YOU COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED!!" He yelled and made us flinch. I could tell he scented it cause he stopped yelling." Are you hurt? Please tell me that." He asked with wide eyes.

'Roxan I need to take over for a second.' I said.

Our eyes turned black and  Sage realized that I wasn't Roxan.

"Hi Sage! I'm Amber, Roxan's Fox. Listen, I saw a pack of rogues coming this way. They walked past us when we hid up in a tree. They should be here in about 5 minutes." I busted out as fast as I could so he wouldn't get mad, but it didn't work.

His eyes turned from blue to red, to black. "THERE ROUGES OUT THERE??! THIS IS WHY WE HAVE YOU STAY IN HERE!" His wolf yelled at me. His wolf felt me flinch and his eyes turned back to blue. He walked up to me and kissed us!

*Sage POV* 

We felt her flinch, end we hated that feeling. Having our one mate be scared of us. I walked up to  her and kissed her.

I couldn't hold it back any longer. I went a little further down to her neck and I found the sweet spot, i carefully bit down on her neck and it was officially. She was my mate forever.

She quietly moaned when I licked the wound clean. Her knees started failing on her, so I sat her dawn on my lap on the floor.

She was mine.... Forever.

'Do the oath!' Me and my wolf Hunter both said at the same time.

'I swear, never to hurt, nor leave my mate, forever shall I love her eternally, and be the best mate a mate can be.' We both swore at the same him.
