Chapter 25 The Dinner Part 1

*Roxy's pov*
My eyes are still tight shut as he guides me out of the car and through double doors. When i opened my eyes we were in a really cozy restaurant, there was little stringed lights all around the center of the restaurant with one table set in the center of the circle with a couch that goes around the table. There are planted vines that were growing around a big white Arbor. It was so beautiful.
I could barely move when Sage started walking towards the table.
I pushed my self to move when James, the guard who i found out was named Tom, and Sage were gathered around the table and had sat down. Sage had an ampty spot next to him that he was patting for me to come sit.
I gladly sat down as a very nicely dressed man walked up with four menu's.
They had anything, and everything you could think of!
I finally settled for Sirloin Steak cooked middle, with Chicken Alfredo with no vegetables (i dont go for greens).
I smile as i order while everyone looks at me with surprise.
"What? I dont like veggies." I look away and back to the well dressed man in front of me. "Thank you."
After everyone else orders, he walks back into the kitchen doors, and we talked for what seemed like an hour, when the man walked back out he said something in french, but i couldn't understand. It seemed clear that Sage knew exactly what he said, because he started talking in french as well.
I went wide eyes when he walked back into the kitchen, and Sage looked at me.
"What? You didnt know i speek French?" Sage smirked as he kissed me.
He hugged me, and whispered french in my ear, but something about it made me spark, and shiver at the tone.
Every body laughed when i did that, but so did i, but i could tell it was gonna be a long night.
I still had no idea why we were out eating dinner still.
Im so scared that if he realizes i dont know why we are here, he will be sad.
And i cant see my baby sad. I try to smile when Sage looks at me for a few seconds as i scoot closer to him and give him a side hug, burying my face in his neck.
'Smile, he can sense we are sad, he cant know we dont remember why we are here.' My wolf Amber said.
I do as she said.
I smiled slightly as he looked away for a few seconds.
'Baby, are you ok?' Sage's soft voice appeared quietly in my mind.
'O- Of course, just happy we are here' i try smiling again, almost fighting not to cry.
'No. Whats wrong,' He asked alittle louder in my mind.
I try not to think about the fact i dont know why we are here, but i cant do anything about it. It wont escape.
Now i just hope he doesnt try to read my mind. I don't want him to know, he cant know. If hes gets sad. I dont know what u would do.
'I told you, im just happy we are here together. ' i fake my smile again, trying to hid my thoughts.
"We will be right back." Sage states as he stands up and slightly and softly tugs my arm.
I stand up, scared as he leads me out the side door.
He pulls me in carefully and gives me a huge hug.
"Whats wrong baby?" He whispers in my ear, as he sits us down on the ground a few feet from the door.
I snuggle into him.
"Baby?" He sounds hurt.
Oh no he read my thoughts, oh no, please no.
"Please tell me whats wrong, baby." He sounds like he was about to cry.
No, this cant be happening.
"Im sorry baby, i just dont know. I cant remember why we are her, why today is so special, im sorry. I love you, and i hate that im stupid enough to not realize why we are here." I cry into his chest.
"Baby, baby, calm down. Its ok you dont remember. Baby, i love you, you do not need to remember for me to love you, you will see super soon. You are perfect, and definitely not stupid. Ok? Do you trust me?" He says as he puts me in his lap and hugs me.
His legs are behind me, and my legs are behind him, as he continued to hug me.
I love him, no matter what, he is mine.
I repeat to myself.
I wipe my tears as i continue to hug him.
It was starting to gwt dark so we finally went back inside.
My tear stained facrle had cleared up, and was barely visible at this point. I finally smiled when the man came back out.
"Your dinner awaits." The man bows and pionts towards the back door.
"Heres where you find out why we are here baby," Sage whispers and i followed him.
This time i didnt close me eyes, but i was completely blown away.
