Harry's POV

I was driving on my way back home when suddenly my phone rang. It's been ringing for about twenty times since I left the school. When I looked at my phone, Taylor's name popped up. I can't believe she's calling me all the way from England just to annoy me. I mean, who calls their ex boyfriend and tell them you have another one? She's crazy. I wish Skype won't work in some people's account.

The drive here in the Philippines is way different than I had in England. From there, the traffic isn't heavy as what we have here. Cars everywhere and those funny looking .. Jeepneys? is that what they call it? And also the weather here, it burns like hell. I mean when I got here I was expecting a warm, Brazilian-like weather. And in that case, i was wrong. VERY wrong. Nobody told me that I'll be living in a country with a heat like an oven.

I never wanted to be in here in the first place. My step-father suggested that we should go to his hometown sometime and my mum and sister agreed like they were deciding on swapping shoes.

And now here I am. Driving in unfamiliar road, (thanks to my GPS or god knows where I'll end up) seeing unfamiliar people, eating unfamiliar food, so basically everything here is UNFAMILIAR. It's not that I hated it but I'm not used to it.

While I was stuck in a heavy traffic, I looked outside my window and I saw a vendor selling popcorns in the street. A person immediately popped up in my head; Bea.

I saw her for the first time in a coffee shop hours after we arrived here in the Philippines. I went out for a walk then suddenly I saw her there, inside that coffee shop.

She was sitting by the window with a hand on her chin. Her raven hair falling off her face but she doesn't seem to notice it. She's staring at the wall, looking like there is something on her mind. She was absolutely stunning. I stopped in front of the coffee shop when my phone rang. It was a text message from mum.

Mum: Honey, your sister and I are at a grocery store near Starbucks. We need a little help since George cant pick us up. Would you mind, dear?

Damn it, mum.

Me: Sure. I'll be there in ten minutes. bye xx

I locked my phone and shoved it inside my pocket. When i looked into the coffee shop again, the girl that I was looking at earlier is clearly checking me out. Her eyes are drooling from my hair to my shoe. I was a bit surprised by the way she looked at me, and then an idea came up.

When her eyes met mine, she froze. I smiled at her and then winked. Her reaction was priceless, she sat there frozen and even through the window, i saw her blushed but then looked away. She's so cute

Then, another text message from my mum. I looked at her once again, remembering her face before leaving.

I'm never into foreign girls before. I told myself that a british is for british. Despite my mother re-marrying a Filipino guy, I thought it was wrong. Maybe that's why my relationship with my step-father isn't very well.

And when I came to my new school, ADMU, which George told me that it's one of the best schools nearby, I instantly felt different. It felt like me, being an alien was emphasized even more when I walked in. People staring at me, whispering things on each other while looking at me. I wondered why, because I'm sure, I saw a few not-so-filipino looking students walking around the hall. So what made me different from them?

I sat outside the Principal's office, waiting for my professor to show me my classroom. I think he is called 'Mr. Sanzo'? I've heard a few things about him because George told me that he is his close friend. Yeah, like I care.
