As we all begin to eat there is the sudden noise of hard rain hitting the roof. We all pause and listen. The rain seems to pick up further as we all wait to see what happens. Chaeyoung stands and goes to the window "dear God it's really coming down out there" nayeon and jihyo go to the window next "y/n I don't think it's ok enough for you to drive tonight" jihyo says with concern. I look down as I think about my next move "maybe you should stay here for the night y/n" nayeon says as though it's the best idea she's ever had. "o-ok" I say as everyone takes there seats once again and continues eating.
Once done everyone except for me and dahyun go back to the livingroom to watch movies and chat. Dahyun began washing dishes as I offered help, her gladly accepting. "Y/n be honest what do you think of it here?" I smile as I continue to rinse the plate I had in my hands. "I actually love it here. I mean you guys are all great. I think I might stay if everyone else is ok with it." "Really?" She asks shocked and I nod. Ten minutes later we finish the dishes and head back to the others.
The livingroom is dark as their watching justice league. I sit between dahyun and jeongyeon. A couple minutes in the loud claps of thunder can be heard. I jumped, my fear kicking in. I covered my ears and tucked my body into itself. I squeezed my eyes shut. My quick and shocking movements shocked everyone. Jeongyeon put a hand on my shoulder "hey y/n are you alright?" I look up slightly shaking "y-yeah I just hate storms" almost all at once they say cute some come and hug me others pinch my cheeks almost painfully.
"Yah stop" I pout. They all laugh but turn back to the movie. As time goes on lighter shocks of thunder hit as I shake still hiding in my sweater. Eventually dahyun pulled me close and hugged me, which surprisingly help calm me down. I take a couple deep breaths before my heart rate goes normal and I snuggle back into her, smiling to myself. After a few minutes I unknowingly drift off into sleep.
