leaving Pt.1

After exiting my room fully dressed, I was met with the girls all sitting or standing around the couch. They were speaking in hushed whispers. Once I was in the room with them I cleared my throat. They all turned to me with slight shock on their faces. I shook that off "I'm going to start working but you still don't have to do this"

Jeongyeon stood and placed a hand on my shoulder "nonsense, tell us what you need us to do" I smiled at the gesture "well everything will need to be boxed up and some will have to go to a storage unit. Wendy had some of her friends come and mail her stuff to her so I just need to pack my stuff up."

After a while everyone had settled into a job of some sort. nayeon and Jeongyeon were boxing up things in the kitchen and dining room. Mina, momo, and sana were packing up everything in the livingroom. Dahyun and chaeyoung were taking pictures off the wall and carefully placing them in boxes. Tzuyu was getting things out of the bathroom. That left just me and jihyo in my room.

It started off very awkward with very few words being said but then jihyo spoke "y/n, I really am sorry about earlier. I should have waited for you to respond before I knocked. I am embarrassed in my self for my actions. Please accept my apol-"

I laugh which seems to startle her "unnie, it's not that deep. You made a small mistake but it's not like it matters, we are all girls here" I smile at her and she nods "right..I suppose" she starts emptying my hoodie drawer as I clear the knickknacks off my nightstand.

Suddenly she gasps, making me look up in shock "this is so cute!" She squeals. I let out a relieved sigh as she holds up a red hoodie. I smile as I think back fondly.

I got that with wendy our last shopping trip in gangnam. She was so excited when we bought each other things. She got me the hoodie and I got her that cute hat.

I snap back to reality when I realize jihyo is still talking. "It's so vibrant and soft. Where'd you get it? I really like it. It's super cute and-" I cut her off once again "why don't you just have it. I mean i haven't really worn it much and as you can tell i have too many hoodies already" I gesture to the nearly 3 boxes full of them. We both laugh.

"Are you sure?" She asks with slight worry. I nod and smile the most genuine smile you could pull in a time like this. A time when you feel like you are leaving so many memories behind. My thoughts are wiped away when I feel jihyo engulf me in such a strong hug that we both fall back "thank you thank you thank you" she repeats cutely.

We continue to make a difference in my room with 5 more boxes full of stuff. I let out a tired sigh before looking at jihyo with a smile "hungry?"
