Adelaide is the youngest child of Orion and Aurielle Phoenix. She is very popular in foxfire and her best friends before Sophie had arrived were Katrina Collson, Ryder Winters and Blaze Calrow.
She met Sophie when during Sophie's first detention. In book 1 after the day in detention, Sophie and Adelaide would exchange greetings when they pass by each other and give each other gifts at the end of the term, but they only became close in book 2 when Fitz and Biana were not talking to Sophie. By the end of book 2 Adelaide and Sophie were really close and count each other as nearly sisters. In book 3, Adelaide still hung out with her old group but she would also sometimes hang out with Sophie's group. Before following Sophie and and her group when they decided to follow the black swan in the end of book 3, she told her old friends that she wanted to join Sophie to join the black swan so she wouldn't be in foxfire for the year. Her friends, luckily, were not mad and told her that when she comes back, they would pull the biggest prank ever(even bigger than the great gullon incident).
The Phoenix family is a very special and famous family in the Elvin world. Each Phoenix family member may have the same ability as their cousins, uncles, aunts, grandparents, great grandparents everyone in their family except for their parents, sisters and brothers. There was never once in the Phoenix family that a child had the same ability as their parents and brothers and sisters. This made the family special and very talented as there were many different talents in each Phoenix elementary family house. (elementary family means only the small family not including their uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparents, great grandparents, etc)
Other facts: 2 of Adelaide's cousins are still in foxfire. Corym Phoenix and Alise Phoenix. Alise has had a crush on Dex since the first time she met him:)
Physical appearance Adelaide is one of the most gorgeous elves. She has long wavy blonde hair that many were jealous of and baby blue eyes that seem to stand out anywhere. She has her mom's beautiful perfect nose and chin and her father's light skin. She also got her hair and eye color from her dad. Most of the male population in foxfire has a huge crush on her.
She loves to tie her hair in two braids and she also loves to use blue eyeshadow. She admires people who manifested as frosters and used to want to become one herself. She loves using dresses especially blue and white ones.
