A few months had passed, and the weather slowly became colder and colder. Winter had arrived, and Both Lukas and Mathias had started ruling over their tribes. Keeping their relationship a secret for the world. And just as Berwald had expected, they were planning an attack on the Oxenstierna tribe

Berwald on the other hand only focused on protecting his people, and mostly the two people he held dear the most, His father and Tino. He had figured out his feelings in the past few months. He tried showing the shorter man how he felt towards him, but unfortunately, the Finnish man didn't notice his feelings. Tino already saw him as very close friends, he had feelings as well but didn't expect Berwald to feel the same. Yet they acted like a wedded pair, They slept together in one bed, cooked together, and other things like that.

It was late afternoon when Berwald asked the smaller man to go on a walk with him, Tino agreed to come with him. Both men left not long after, the sun was already setting leaving the sky in beautiful colour. Tino looked at the beautiful changing sky but then got distracted by his own breath. Every time he was breathing out he could see it. He immediately did it again and continued it as a little child with a big grin on his face. The Swedish man smiled at the scene, the smaller man saw the smile on the man's face and smiled brightly at him. This made Berwald's heart skip a beat. They walked deep into the woods until Berwald stopped by a lake. A beautiful lake surrounded by tree's of all sizes, the moonlight reflected on the water leaving a picture of the moon. It smelled like
pine trees and you could hear the wind blowing through the trees.

"Tino?" Berwald asked softly. It snapped the Finnish out of his thoughts, he looked up at Berwald who was dangerously close. Panic went through Tino's body when the Swedish man leaned down and softly placed his lips on his. First Tino didn't know how to respond, he couldn't move. Berwald pulled away after a few seconds. "Sorry" Berwald spoke silently and a bit ashamed. Tino was still in shock, he didn't know what to do. He sure liked it, he loved Berwald, but this was so unexpected. Berwald turned around and started retreating to the village, Tino followed him silently. The Finnish man was so caught up in his thoughts, he didn't even notice they had already entered the village. The sun had already disappeared. Which meant most people were inside getting ready to go to bed. With every step the two made, the atmosphere became more and more awkward
