Sixteen

[Stanley's pov]

I pack up my clothes and everything I need. And ran after him. I can't stay here where I'm unhappy. I need to go home.

"Bill just left honey, where are you going?" my mom asked.

"I'm going home," I said exiting the house.

"Stanley! No! Your home is here now!"

"No it's not! And it will never be!"

"If you go 'home' to your father the law will not be your friend!"

"The law is never anyone's friend!"

She scoffed. I knew she wouldn't do anything. She could tell I really was not giving up. And she cares for me, I think. If she does, she'll let me follow Bill to my REAL home.

[Bill's pov]

"Maybe this was a bad idea..." I muttered.

"Bill! Bill! William!" called a familiar voice.

"Stanley?" I called back.

He caught up with me and said, "I'm going home with you. Because I love you too."

"Good, I was hoping you did. Now, let's go the bus that can get us most of the way home is leaving in a half and hour."

"How far is it?"

"Walking? It's about 25 minutes."

"Let's go babe," he says nodded.

It felt good to hear him say that. I led him in the right direction.

~(time skip 20 minutes)~

"We're almost there Stan," I looked at him. "What made you decide to come with me?"

"I- I know what my heart wants. It wants to be with you. And the Losers. So thats where I'm going."

"But what about your mom?"

"She- well she could do anything, but I think she knows, that this is best for me. And mothers always want whats best right?"

"What if she makes it so you have to come back here?"

"I won't go."

"Ok," I say uncertainly.

We finally arrived at the bus stop just as the bus is pulling up. We quickly run to get on the bus and sit down together in a seat at the back. "I'll text the Losers," I say.

[Bev's pov]

We all decided to have a big "sleepover" at Ben's while we waited for Bill to come back, hopefully with Stanley. It wasn't really a sleepover because none of us slept while we waited to hear news.

Billy boi

Bill: prolly 4-5 in the morning
