Chapter 8: Premature?!

~Casi's POV~

Before we left the doctor told us the baby might be premature which was really scary. Luckily the nursery is all set up. We really didn't want a baby shower so we told people if they wanted to buy the baby something they could. It's been a couple days since I came back from the hospital and was due in about a month.

"Luke, I have a name for our daughter." I smile as I whisper it into his ear.

"Thats beautiful I love it!" He says.

My parents, and the boys were sitting on the couch with me watching tv. I was walking into the kitchen to get a drink when I felt liquid run down my leg. I instantly knew what it was. My water broke.

"GUYS! MY WATER BROKE!" I yelled and everyone came running torward me.

"Get her in the car! I'll grab the bag!" My mom said.

On my way to the hospital I started having painful contractions and I was holding my stomach. Ashton was driving with Michael up front and Luke and Calum in the back with me.

"Luke it hurts." I say shedding a couple tears.

"Shh I know baby, I know. Were almost at the hospital hold in there." He said nervously kissing my forehead and wiping my tears.

"Don't worry we're pulling in now." Calum says with his hand on my arm.

Luke carries me into the hospital as we get a wheelchair and I get put into a room.

"Luke I'm scared." I say starting to cry.

"Im here baby, its ok. It's ok." He soothes me.

The nurse comes in and attached all these things to me.

"Im just going to see how far dialated you are." She says

"Ok." I hold Luke's hand while she checks.

"Ok you are 5cm dialated. I will come back every hour and check ok?"

"Ok thank you."

I was in labor for about 6 hours and I was a train wreck. I finally was 10cm dialated and the doctor was getting everything ready for me to push. I had Calum and Luke with me one on each side. Calum wanted to witness the birth of his niece so I let him.

"Ok so on the count of 3 I want you to push until I say stop."

"Ok.." I say nervously.

"Babe you got this. Take deep breaths." Luke says kissing me on the lips.

"Casi squeeze our hands when it hurts or as much as you need to." Calum says hugging me.

I was really scared. I have never given birth before so this will be scary.

"1,2,3" The doctor counted

I took a deep breath and started pushing. It hurt so much. I'm pretty sure I was squeezing the crap out of Luke and Calum's hand.

"Stop"

I took a deep breath as Luke wiped the tears off my face.

"1,2,3"

I began pushing again and it hurt even more like trying to push a watermelon out of a lemon sized hole.

"You got this babe. I believe in you." Luke motivates

"Stop. I can almost see the head."

I push about 2 more times until the doctor says he sees the head. Calum and Luke looked over and both said: "We can see the head! Your doing great!"

"Ok one more big push Casi!" The doctor said

I take a really deep breath and push as hard as I can and then I hear crying. The doctor gets the fluid out her lungs and cleans her up as he lays her on my chest. Instantly I start crying.

"Oh my god....she's beautiful."

"Whats her name?" Calum asks

"Wynter Marie Hemmings." I speak.
"Luke do you want to hold her?" I ask

"I-I yes!" He studders before taking her carefully.

I see him shed a couple tears looking at her and hands her to Calum.

"Hi Wynter! It's Uncle Calum." Calum says before handing her to the doctor.

All of a sudden I black out.
