Ron lassoed the furniture
On CM he tried his new power
They played together
For over an hour.
After a short break
Restin' and muffin stuffin'
Ron took the gift deliveries
Happy, runnin', hoppin'.
To get ready for the gala
He had the rest of the day off
He'd be back here by four
Once all the gifts were dropped off.
At the saloon, under the stairs
On the table, I put the gift box
The sheriff's pillow is comfy
I sat sippin' lemonade on the rocks.
We had some good times here
Shoot outs, fish games, tossin' salad
We were all together in town this year
But Christmas would be at the gala.
No noodle soup or dumplings
No sit-down café chit chat chatter
A formal event at the Town Hall
The town comes first in all matters.
I hope everyone likes their gifts
Petra has done a real fine job
The other little trinkets
Were bought from Mr. Ger's shop.

A bear claw pendant for Rue
To remind her of the warrior she is
And to herself to always be true.
Her spirit animals
Would forever be her guide
Regards to the path she took
They would always be on her side.
It was her dream
It would bring her joy
A shaman, A wife, a mother
To a cowgirl or a cowboy.
We ... her and me
We no longer see things eye to eye
But if it made her happy
Then so am I.
She has her new friends
And her Kit Kat family
BG is her home
to live happily.
With the present at the hotel
I wrote a note of apology
"I am sorry I was out of line
I shouldn't have yelled at you so rudely".
Lotta nodded and took them
Placed them in Rue's office
She took the apology note for Bella
"I'll deliver it," she said as a promise.
Back at my office
I tried to think of what to gift
Sittin' on the window sill
As CM ate his cake really swift.
I stared at the hammock
Tried not to fall
"What do I get the person
Who seems to have it all?
